Tommers

Flint for me

I would have taken him off at half time!
That’s what he offers though. Can be out of the game and then split the defence with a pass and grab a goal with a difficult shot. He’s a game changer.
Bennet was poor today and etheridge’s kicking is absolutely shocking. Puts us under pressure or never finds a cardiff player.

Tomlin or madine

Flint for me

Tomlin, that's why he's in the team, winning goal and brilliant assist. Makes the difference.

Tomlin for me. Madine is better, but is not the answer. He was more aggressive when he was subbed, than on the pitch. ( kicking the water bottle) Danny ward bought more aggression.

Even though Tomlin had an assist and the late winner I thought Aden Flint was outstanding throughout. Involved in the first goal, brought the ball out well & won everything in the air.

Madine motm

biggest cheer was him sending a cross into the keepers hands from the canton byline.
Flint or Pack for me but will go Pack

Tomlin. That pass for Ward was majestic and the strike for the winner was brilliant. Match winner and can see the effect Harris has had on him. Thought he looked much better playing with Ward who was going in behind than Madine.

I chose him for the very same reasons

I watched just him for 5 minutes as I am one of his critics and really want to find something to like. I failed.
He is ok at holding up the ball and spreading it wide (when it doesn't bounce 5 yards off his chest) but he then makes little effort to get in the box as a good striker does. If he made more effort to get into scoring positions and less kicking water bottles and complaining every time he loses the ball then he might get in a few more shots on target and, who knows, even get a goal.
Man of the match?
