MY VIEW " NEIL HARRIS' CARDIFF CITY STRIKE LATE TO WIN AT HOME "

Ten points out of a possibly twelve for Harris so far

CITY TWICE COME FROM BEHIND TO WIN :ayatollah:

Neil Harris named an unchanged starting eleven for this match against bottom of the league Barnsley, with Jazz Richards returning on the bench.

Etheridge, Peltier, Flint, Nelson, Bennett, Bacuna, Pack, Hoilett, Mendez-Laing, Tomlin, Madine

A fairly even start with both teams having chances

GOAL: CARDIFF CITY 0-1 BARNSLEY - Barnsley went 1-0 up after 17 minutes, with Chaplin getting the goal

GOAL: CARDIFF CITY 1-1 BARNSLEY - Aden Flint equalised for City in the 20th minute

Gary Madine scored for Cardiff but was offside

HALF TIME: CARDIFF CITY 1-1 BARNSLEY

GOAL: CARDIFF CITY 1-2 BARNSLEY - Barnsley go ahead again just after half time. Diaby with the goal

Barnsley were the better team in the early stages of the second half, causing City a lot of problems

City needed to make a change and in the 59th minute, Josh Murphy replaced Hoilett

Ward replaced Madine in 65th minute

GOAL: CARDIFF CITY 2-2 BARNSLEY - Danny Ward got City level again in the 68th minute

Bacuna picked up an injury and was replaced by Will Vaulks in the 74th minute

GOAL: CARDIFF CITY 3-2 BARNSLEY - Lee Tomlin secured the three points for the Bluebirds in the 94th minute

FULL TIME: CARDIFF CITY 3-2 BARNSLEY

Next up a difficult away match at Brentford on Wednesday

We need a new midfield if are to challenge for promotion. We are too open in front of the back four allowing too much space. We also need to change the full backs as they don’t show enough going forward. It is better but still know where near good enough. See you all at Brentford. :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

for 25 mins of the second half we had the old Cardiff. I was sure we had a CM sent off as Barnsley kept walking down the middle. That's something we need to sort.

But i definitely saw us fight for it and not give up. One we got the ball Tomlin setup Ward and then it was all us

That problem has been there all season with midfielders being caught well forward when we lose possession in the final third.Surely the defense has to move up on bloc when this happens.Got outta gaol in my view today.

The problem is pack he drops to deep and is leaving gap in middle sort that out we'll be a lot better
