Neil Harris has said the squad is too bloated,nearly 30 players,all on a wage,but if it is 20k,it's petty,considering,we were in the prem last year.

keeps being repeated...Forest away we had 2 keepers and Bogle not in the match day squad the rest were injured...
MM used 34 in all competitions in his promotion year and NW 29 in his promotion year..
so not sure where Harris is coming from.? he keeps going on about 11v11 in training so does he really want to get down to low 20s ?

It’s what he’s been told to say to justify the inevitable sales in January and the summer... our squad size is not the issue it’s the cr@p that is propping up the numbers

Might have been petty in the premier league but we are not in the premier league anymore. 20k a week is a lot of money for a player to be on. Especially if he is not playing. Once you start factoring in the other players on similar/higher wages I bet our wage bill is pretty high. Its not sustainable for our club in the championship. Which is why Harris has said players will have to leave before more come in.

All part of long overdue master plan, shift some out make room for academy lads to come through.

Need manager to fetch them through like Eddie and Dave did.
