Corbyn is a racist.. its hardly news.
How's he a racist?
he is anti semetic and has been throughout his career/life. and I don't mean a few jokes like MM , its why this investigation has run and run with very little being done. yet on the surface seems a simple thing to put to bed..
Is anti semitism racism? Even if it was when has he been specifically anti semitic (rather than anti Israel)?
Genuinely asking btw not saying there isn't examples, it's just the whole criticism of Corbyn being anti semitic seems to just be built around his pro Palestine anti Israeli history and views
Corbyn is a lot of things but
not sure Corbyn controls us
or that Voltaire said that either..
The meaning relates the fact that some Jews seem to purposefully confuse criticism of Israel and Zionism with anti Semitism, which are 2 different things. You seem to have your own confusion to deal with.
oh...Voltaire DIED in the 1700s..
so even if it was said by him I doubt he was talking about confusion between Zionism and Israel almost 200 years later..
jeez....

Although I'm with you in that the quote is almost definitely not genuinely by Voltaire

I ask, because Anything Expressing white identity is now questioned or dismissed by the globalist media as "white supremacy" in the same way Corbyn is smeared as as anti semitic for questioning Isreali power. Globalists have weaponised these terms, mangling their meaning & i have to say i'm seeing more and more anti Christian/European rhetoric from eminent Jewish people, i could give coutnless verifiable examples, it has shocked me but apparently this tension isn't new & goes back 2.000 years.
i'm from a varied background and people i speak with of all races think it's gone too far...and find it bizarre. There was recently a media outcry of "white supremacism" in America because somebody hung a bedsheet over a motorway bridge with the words "it's ok to be white" in response(i think) to a University holding a discussion where only ethnic minorities were asked to attend. How can that be right? I do not fully understand this manufactured antipathy. Even the abhorrent Africa/America slave trade wasn't a white operation but was ended by white Christians, yet the "globalist" media have never given me that perspective...even as food for thought.
In France, the debate is further ahead and people are questioning what is going on, from all communities...
French rappers even toast about the "great replacement" ...refering to the demographic change in Europe. A conspiracy theory obviously...
I can honestly say that i've never met a white supremacist in my life.

Don’t know for sure the origins, sounds like something Voltaire would say but the little I’ve seen online say some Yank Crackpot, like I said either way there’s much truth in it. The march of the far left through our institutions and academia has seen words like racist or Facist used to close down debate. Time for a grown up debate on immigration and Islam in this country .

I agree Jock, it is time for an honest debate. I just can not see it happening, we have slowly lost the right to criticise and speak freely. Baroness Varsi is pushing for an islamaphobic law, enforcing tighter controls on criticism of any form of Islam. i think it's only a matter before we see this law passed.

Islamaphobia, a term first coined by the Islamist extremists during the Iranian revolution........to stop criticism of their barbaric interpretation of Islam. Now it’s mainstream.

'(the term Islamophobia) is attested in English as early as 1923, to quote the French word islamophobie, found in a thesis published by Alain Quellien in 1910 to describe a "a prejudice against Islam that is widespread among the peoples of Western and Christian civilization".' From wikipedia with all the sources for that linked in if you do want to check.
Iranian revolution was late 70s so no that's not true I'm afraid.

By "coined" i took it as meaning weaponised politically, as was the context of my post. The term was rare Before the Iranian revolution.

Coined means to invent something though not to weaponise it politically. He's also mentioned this previously on the board to which I gave the same response, and that wasn't tied in to the 'context' of your post. I agree all for an open and honest debate but it's impossible when both sides will just repeat lies or at best use very misleading information to get their point across.

If I started out this thread by saying "Anti-semitism is just a word invented by israel so they can avoid criticism when they bomb palestinians" it would be incorrect. If i later said "well I obviously meant they were the first to weaponise it politically" it wouldn't validate the fact that what I first said was incorrect.
Either way no you're wrong, islamophobia as a political weapon can be traced back to Voltaire, it's in a picture quote so definitely legit.
