Considering the vast majority of away ends at grounds we visited 'back in the day' were terraces it was never really an issue was it.

Unless you wernt there of course so wouldn't know.

Mask slipping I say.

Indeed ;)

Did anyone actually see anyone being ejected and, if so, was he a 'regular' known to others?

Would have to be pretty thick to come on here and then identify himself, so I'm not too sure they two (the possibly ejected person and poster) are one and the same ;)

Was thinking the same thing RV. "Back in the day" we nearly all stood on the terraces. I always thought it was only people with money who could afford a seat in my younger days. I always stood at whatever ground I was in, and at NP always stood on the bob bank or over on the grange end before seating was an issue. I would prefer to stand now, but the game has moved on and I am not ignorant enough to think it's ok for me to block the view of other people, and I like to think I'm not stupid enough to do something likely to get me thrown out after I have paid for the ticket and travel.

Exactly mate, you and others have been going a lot longer than me but even in the 90s it was majority on a terrace, then you would have places like Cambridge, Exeter, Torquay off the top of my head that might have a few seats on the side for those who wanted i

Not sure why we are even discussing this as not sympathy for him.... He had plenty of time to comply to request to get off chair! If he was same guy saw getting put outside ground by stewards/cops he looked worse for wear thats for sure and probably the reason for incoherent post last night and why he didn't get off chair...

years ago there was no seats in a ground especially in an away end the signing and the atmosphere was great so sorry you don't need to stand on a seat to get an atmosphere .

Probably blocking the view of a kid or a disabled fan mate. It's not that hard to figure out surely

If it's where I saw things happening it was near back of stand but still blocking someones view undoubtedly.

Yes you did get escorted out of the game for being a drunken annoying person

The first half you was further down the stand standing and singing and falling over,
The second you across from your friends and was standing 4 rows in front,we picked you up off the floor a few times, then about 3 quarters through the game you decided to stand on the seats, we did tell you to get down you did but kept getting back, behind you was other fans trying to watch the women and older fans like myself, we tried to make you stay down but kept getting up.
You fell off the seat but got back up so we pushed you off and then you got aggressive with a fellow supporter.

Yes that was me

If you want to stand on the seat do in the middle and at the back,

Bet you don’t do Saturday at home
