Sol Bamba

Has anyone else got that horrible feeling that we’re not going to see him playing again? Part of me feels NH will look at him as an old player back from a serious injury who is too tightly weaved within the old setup, he even wanted the caretaker role if it was available.

I don’t know, but I just have a horrible feeling he’ll be at NW’s next club having left here on ‘mutual terms’

End of last season I didnt think he would last long

Cracking work ethic and a team player but I do think we need to build a fresh squad of young players with some experience key players and be ready for a promotion.. even if it takes a few seasons

I would love to see Sol back in the team asap to be honest, even if it is just to steady the ship this season. It’s no coincidence we conceded so many goals in his absence. He organises the defence very well and is a great athlete who alongside Manga was the best defender at the club last season. I hope Harris can see the positives he can bring to the team

If he regains his fitness we will see him again I'm sure. If he is better than Morrison and Flint in training then Harris will want him in starting XI. I'm sure Warnock watching and would want a fit Bamba as at the level any manager would. Key to us seeing him in action again is his fitness.

Recently moved into a house near the Captains Wife pub in Sully but I understand it is only a rental, so presumably could move at any time if necessary

We are leaking goals in Manga's absence mainly and Flint and Morrison together didn't work.

You may be right, he's getting on and had a long break from playing, but he is determined sp hopefully we will see him soon if he can break back in, as it looks like Nelson will take one of those positions with the other three fighting it out for the other centre half position.
