How far has that team fallen,I thought we lumbered to a win but they were shocking.
Their defenders batth and vickers were a joke,Vokes is as bad as any player I’ve seen here.
Joe Allen must have wondered if he was playing on the same pitch as his Wales team last week, look lost.
A win is a win and I’ll take it even ova poor Stoke team.
Please keep off the pitch at full time !!!!

Stoke came into this game in good form - with also a new manager - Good 3 pts for US

Joe Allen their best player by a country mile.

Lets be honest apart from 1 goal we looked nearly as bad, 3 points is what mattered,
but if we play like that at forrest we will be hammered, giving the ball away time and again and we sat so deep playing at home for long periods almost inviting an equalizer.

Yep, I thought City nullified most of the Stoke threat and the OP does the Bluebirds performance an injustice
Although they did have some chances, recently resurgent Stoke (like their quiet fans) were limited in their real impact
The work-rate from the Cardiff City players was there to be seen for most of the game but I have to wonder if they had been worked physically hard in training this week?
Several looked really leggy towards the end and that was when the team decided to resort the 'Hoofball' style we have recently become accustomed to

When you look at the players Stoke have it's shocking how poor they are. They dominated possession but I don't think threatened us even once. We weren't brilliant but I never felt threatened by their attack.
Joe Allan is clearly quality and tried hard but they offered little.

Agree Chris but I always look at how many saves our keeper had to make - hardly any other than routine crossed. Granted their keeper had just as little but we had the goal and the onus was very much on them. It was just one of those games I think but all games are different; for example, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we did well next Saturday as wins and clean sheets breeds confidence

I’d love Joe Allan in our side - he covers so much ground and just links everything up so well. I know it has been said before, but how is he playing only at this level and especially in a team struggling so much.

Me too, cheeky bid in january, if they are in the drop zone still

we got the win, rather scruffily, but 3pts are 3pts

we were the more dangerous... its how its been for 3 years and long may it continue. id be suicidal if I had to watch sexy Stoke and their 37 passes before launching it every week.

I must say the best player on the park last night was Joe Allen by a country mile, he did not waste one pass, it abodes well for Wales

It was a tongue in cheek comment

like we could afford him

glad it made you giggle though, even a loan with us paying half his current wage is out of our league

A win is what it was all about ....Joe Allen is still a premier league class player ....exactly what we need .

I still don't understand how he went from Liverpool and a very good EURO 2016 campaign to Stoke. he is better than mid table Prem..or at least he was then..
