A politics section on the forum

Cant there be a separate section for the politic enthusiastic's? Fed up of looking on here and going on the clickbait posts and its politics. Sick to my teeth of hearing about Brexit and the debating

It may be on forum but there is plenty of other topics to read and reply to on here! Just don't look at political ones?

I think he's eluding to the fact that some are clickbait and pose as unpolitical posts and then turn out to actually be political posts. I can't really say I've seen many like that tbf, politics is a weird one because it will always divide in a place with people from all walks of life. What I do want to say is that people need to look forward in regards to what party's are proposing rather than be held accountable for what shit mps on both sides have done in the past.

read my post again al it's the clickbait ones that cook me, always avoid the political threads if stated it's clearly politics  in my defence this is a cardiff forum and theres plenty of political forums on the web, or if there was a separate part for it there would be no problem and even better for annis because it would attract more people possibly

Yeah agree that politics posts should be obvious politics posts in the title, or at least have OT to say its non football related.

I will try and amend future topic titles to that effect and encourage those who do start the topics to do that themselves.

The election is in just over two weeks. After that, the number of topics on politics will reduce significantly so no need for a separate section in my opinion.

I agree with that, providing the header isn't deceptive, banning certain topics seems OTT.

Technically the thread is click bait as it's not about politics its actually about click bait posts so headline should have said click bait posts on here? pedantic I know but correct

This header is deceptive because it doesn't state click bait in it it appears to suggest having separate forum for politics until actually open it and you can see what it is actually about.?

Mike Morris did, left wing rich, very rich folk paid and more or less killed his board. Last time I looked there was only a couple of people contributing on football side, the "politics bit", well, it's free to look, registration my be a little more difficult though.
The other 3 probably more, free thinking football chaps boards get nailed within a few days.

The headline clearly says political section on this forum ! Which can mean let's have a section for politics because it as been said on many occasions in the past that a few topics need a separate forum? Its only when reading post do you get to what is being said ! (click bait) Why didn't you put click bait in headline? then everyone including me would have known subject and would have ignored it? :occasion5:

Alot of the football topics have a clickbait headline.(Annis been to media skool  )but political threads give me a chance to have a bit of banter with lads I'd otherwise get on with.No offence meant or taken. :laughing6:

Martin,

I try my best to stay of political threads as it can turn people against each other as many taking it very serious and to heart.

There won’t be any new site for them as the election will be over soon :thumbright:

no problem with that sneg  my point is if theres a post say "this guy" I'm gonna click that thinking its cardiff or football related and its politics.i cant seem to get away from it but I understand people enjoy a debate but surely they could label it at least along the lines of a political headline  I cant be the only one fed up of hearing about Brexit surely  it's either that or Allan's desperate attempts to make friends on the forum I dont know what's more annoying.
