Totally agree

Proud of the performance today

Spot on, I thought we played some really good stuff and passed and moved the ball and didn't just sit back, hoof it and isolate our own striker. Encouraging performance that hopefully we can build on. :bluescarf:

Agreed.

If that’s what we get after 4 days with Warnocks players who have been previously almost rigidly programmed by him, then Harris has achieved. Onwards and upwards and well done City, players and staff.

Agreed, actually strung some passes together

Bear in mind we played an injury ravaged Charlton who looked like scoring every time they attacked

They might have been a weakened side but they could play a good passing game and do it quickly

We played a team higher than us in the league away and came back from a two goal deficit.

Loved we tried to play rather than hoof it, the only issue is we still haven't any top half championship calibre strikers. But that was a massive step in the right direction. The players played more in 90 mins than in the last 18 months.

Yes we need a striker that can actually finish

Yes and they had three of our Academy rejects in their team and had their star Welshman Johnny Williams injured! Is Charton now the Capital of Wales?

I thought we looked good going forward but truly awful at the back other than the last ditch blocks. I would change the whole defence personally as they all looked dodgy today and Bennett & Peltier got caught out of position several times -they just don't have the pace to get back once the winger gets past them. Maybe Coxe, Bamba, Morrison, Traore next game? Hoilett had a bad day at the office too and perhaps needs to be replaced on Tuesday while I see no sense in starting Patterson ahead of Tomlin. Overall though it was encouraging to at least see us play a bit of decent football and we created plenty of chances.

I posted a couple of weeks ago, stating that they could play, just neil didn't allow for this, encouraging start to the new neils reign, let's hope we can gradually integrate into his style of play.two up top, away from home is a step up for me  :old: :bluebird:

Let’s not get carried away Charlton had 10 players out and lost a couple during the game

My opinion they were ripe for taking

If you take a look at Charlton team, all but two have played every game this season, only player out was pratley as suspended,if they have injured players, they weren’t just injured for saturdays game, they ve been out most of season

Bennett had a few telling contributions, particulary in the second-half, but he always goes missing early in games. Saturday's game was no exception, nowhere to be seen whenever they attacked down our left.

Definitely needs replacing. At least Peltier keeps some focus, even if he gets exposed through lack of pace.

Whilst may lack certain attributes under Harris maybe change of style will suit them better and will improve their play you see it happen before with new manager.

better ?

haven't seen defending like that since Trollope
a team in relegation form with a big injury list. not sure you could hand pick a better opener.
and if NW had been manager yesterday this board would be on its biggest ever meltdown today..

it was his first game , and we showed lots of spirit to come back and could have won was positive . they could have too though
