I take some of it back, but Madine is just shit & our defence is awful.

I think some of our fans actually like to be able to wallow in self pity when we lose. Sad acts

This post is typical of some City fans, slating the team and a manger who has been in charge for a few days. No surprises really, the sort of knee jerk reaction we have become used to just half way through a game. Quite a few fans made to look stupid today, I'm sure if we had lost the usual suspects would be calling for the manager to be sacked for not being able to turn things around in 4 days. An away draw against a team higher than us and an entertaining match to watch is not all bad. Yes, there is plenty of room for improvement, but give the bloke a chance rather than just a few training days and half an hour of football.

If you're happy with a draw against a team missing up to 10 first teamers then yes I take it back. We'll see where we are in 6 months, I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

I'm a City supporter and will get behind the manager and his team. No problem with critics in 6 months, but why are our fans ready to have as go at their own manager and his team after half an hour or so of football. I thought it would be the opposition fans who would be against our team, they don't need to bother, we have fans who will do their job for them. I prefer to back my team but each to their own I suppose.

I must admit i jumped the gun a bit  But i stand by what i say about Madine, he is shit :old:
Harris needs to sort out the defence, their positioning was awful ,maybe its early days but it need to be sorted or we will be in big trouble. I wonder how Harris deals with Josh Murphy? as his attitude this season absolutely stinks :o
Onwards and upwards i hope :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :occasion5: NML WAS OUTSTANDING TODAY

We all know the team is far from perfect, and there are players who will need replacing if we are to get anywhere close to the play offs. I know some fans on this forum wanted a big name manager, but just because Klopp didn't arrive does not mean Harris is going to be a mega flop. Some managers will be a perfect fit for one club, but a failure somewhere else. Moyes is a reasonable example. Harris may fail, but equally he could turn out to be a shrewd choice. Time will tell, but for now he is manager of the club we love, and I think he deserves our full support at this stage of his Cardiff career. There is only so much a coach can do with the players he inherits.
Personally, I think a top ten finish is about as good as it will get this season, but hopefully he will be in a position to make a few changes after xmas, and it will be interesting to see if things improve once he settles in here. Be good to see fans getting behind him in these early stages, I am sure he will give 100% and all of us get a lift if we know people are willing us to succeed. :bluescarf:

Obviously i hope we make the play off's but if we finish top half that would be acceptable. Harris needs to offload some of Warnocks poor signings. Madine,Flint, Bogle come to mind.

Actually Charlton was missing two starters being pratley and Williams and we was missing ralls so don’t really understand where you’re coming from

Read the bits from their manager and took it as gospel Probably! more like 10 squad players missing but in fact only couple of regular 1st team players didn't play, as I said if that was a reserve side hate to play 1st team 11 as they were very good on counter attack and looked dangerous all game.. :old:

well and Lyle Taylor who had scored 5 in their opening 6 games....their form has been relegation form since if honest..

we did well to come back, could have won but i think the next 2 games are going to be more of a yard stick. we need a win ..
