Looks like 4-4-2 to me, with Paterson and Madine leading the line.

Well Dalman wanted a change in style. Looks like even more balls balls. Predicted Medine would start, hope he does well.

Can't wait for this now
Watch Madine score!

Strange set up.
Would rather Tomlin in midfield than Paterson. Would rather Paterson instead of Madine upfront. Hopefully I will be wrong.

442 hoof
Get ready for a bad neck

Paterson starting over Tomlin? Well, it looks like a Warnock away side if you ask me but with madine as a surprise starter.
This should be interesting (or the same shit as usual)

is Bamba injured?

We might win but it won't be pretty with that line up...

Harris did say he will rotate the squad , as we have 3 games in a 7 day period. So let’s just get behind him and the team. Can’t expect everything to change over night .

Clutching at straws... if this was a Warnock lineup we would be up in arms

that would be worrying, he's better than half the squad in midfield and up front!
and he's the best leader and motivator at the club as well!

Whyte and bamba not in , going with neil somewhere.

Whyte is not good enough and Bamba may not be fully fit... stop reading too much into it

Strange selection. I’ve always had a feeling Madine could do something here just needed a spark and a bit of luck maybe the change in manager could do that. No bamba and Whyte concerns me though. Only Murphy and tomlin to really change things from the bench

according to sky tv charlton got 10 out this should be goung in our favour, if not worried

Gary Madine brought straight back in up front in the absence of the injured Robert Glatzel and suspended Danny Ward in what looks to be a 4-4-2 system alongside Callum Paterson.
We hypothesised that these two might be big beneficiaries from Neil Harris’s appointment and that certainly looks to be the case.
Nothing says blood and thunder like Paterson and Madine up front together.
Elsewhere Curtis Nelson keeps his place at centre back, with captain Sean Morrison seemingly fit enough only for the bench. Sol Bamba therefore drops out of the squad altogether.
Marlon Pack and Leandro Bacuna are the two tasked with patrolling the midfield, with Joe Ralls still not fit enough to be brought back into the squad.
City’s in-form wingers Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Junior Hoilett fill the wide berths.

The obvious thing to most was lose Flint.
