Re: OT POLL: BORIS OR CORBYN AT THIS POINT?

A hung parliament would be disastrous for democracy. No decisions could be made. Bickering would continue. The country has to elect a working Tory majority otherwise it’s going to hell in a handcart.

I think we're going to hell in a handcart. Labour's a much better campaigning organisation. I've been out this morning delivering letters for our Tory MP to households guaranteed to support the conservatives. What was the point, he'll win this seat at a canter and his campaigning resources would have been better used elsewhere. 2 to 3 years and I'll be ready to hang up my boots anyway but I fear for the kids. They'll be paying for the next parliament for decades to come. Their being spun the tale that this can be all done by taxing the higher earners a bit more and by upping corporation tax a few percentage points. Nonsense it'll be war on the property owners with the new property tax and war on motorist who we now find out will not only be paying for the third off and free rail fares but also buying replacement electric buses country wide.

Well at least the unprecedented capital flight that's coming will finally restrict available borrowing and finally see a significant rise in interest rates. It would be nice to see over 5% again.

I'm afraid Labour would mean everyone paying more. It's all very well increasing corporation tax, just means they react by passing on the increase to their customers and reducing their workforce to balance the books. We know what a Labour government means, inflation, unemployment, a country up to it's eyeballs in debt, nationalisation and then strikes.

And stealing shares from hard working average people who bought them from hard earned cash as well as decimating a series of pensions for people who have worked for 40 years and will have their deserved retire ruined by this grand larceny.
Rising interest rates means inflation decimating savings.
The economy will collapse, & unemployment will soar.
Every socialist government has ruined the economy and as the last one said “sorry we’ve run out of money.”
A vote for labour is akin to turkeys voting for Christmas.
The Labour manifesto is not credible; they have no concept of responsible macro economics.

Don’t these socialists realise they’d be much better off with a strong economy?

No. They’re either fifth columnist or just thick. My Labour mate constantly slags Britain off saying its the Tories fault..my Tory mates figures are straight from Abbot’s ‘Guide to Complete Maths’.

Maybe I need to change my mates.

Hopefully Josh reads it and comments because it doesnt mention sellingofg nhs
:laughing6:

I'm sorry but doggy will get upset that you're copy and pasting something.
Let's put money where your mouth is, I'll give you (or whoever else wants to take up the offer) £100 if we get 40 new hospitals, 50,000 new nurses and no increases to costs in the NHS after a trade deal with America.
If that doesn't happen then you give me £100.
If you think the documents are fake and believe Boris then I'm sure you'll snatch my hand off for a free £100

Typical josh never responded to what is in front of his eyes when it disproved what he says? I copied because it was easier than writing it down and typing in whole story! Documents are not fake but the link shows what is in them and there is fck all saying nhs will be sold off to usa! so respond to the link instead of taking
cowards way out by making some crap offer instead of being honest and admit your wrong? thumbup:

You are aware that there's a line in the documents about not using the word NHS because it'll cause sensitivity (and I assume also because there's people who won't believe anything unless it's spelt out in front of them). Simply put, the documents show that America wants access to the NHS, wants to lower our food standards, wants to change our courts, and workers rights. They want a no deal brexit because that's when we'll be weakest and can't refuse to say no.

I hope you can also see what I get everytime I post something as a supporting argument, getting told to not believe what you read or to type it out as my own opinion.

NHS is not for sale

But I would infact believe that there are certain meds drugs etc in the us we can make trade deals on.

Jezza is a liar and complete moron !! Hes just lied his way to upping the votes .. there needs to be some sort of law against these politicians because they are fooling vulnerable people into getting votes

Not only a liar but also an opportunist who will fall whichever side of the fence might just get him into No.10

A historically very reliable poll yesterday revealed that Jezza's Labour have wildly mistaken the mood of the nation's voters and are heading for a bit of a hiding on 12th December as it currently projects

So what does he do? Today, he changes his policies and manifesto in an attempt to claw back his Party's leave voters

So, does that mean he doesn't truly believe in what he has laid out to the people; or is it simply that he will do/say anything that will get him into power?

For me, it's the former and his personal 'history' in politics shows that to be the case. The squirming of his lieutenants on TV this morning show that they are unable to answer many of the questions thrown at them, as their own untruths unravel

But either way, the Labour Party appear (at this stage) to be facing a backlash over Jezza's poor judgement; and for all his bluster, he (Jezza) has misjudged the mood

On the other matter, clearly, CCFCJosh75 (above) has mis-read/interpreted the whole 451-page document (possibly to suit his own agenda) in that it clearly shows there was actually an acceptance from the US side that there would be no agreement on their effectively taking over the NHS; although there was mention of 'looking at' nursing practices (the US, Canada and Republic of Ireland are already aligned) and the mention of looking at how 'some' medical drugs, currently used over there but not here, could be introduced/priced over here

CCFCJosh75 will be in Australia soon with all that digging! ;)

Funny how in a 451 page document he finds a little bit that says doesn't use nhs word? yet hes been BANGING on here nhs is for sale to USA even quoting how much this and that costs under the Americans, also Corbyn is saying nhs his for sale ! So no one knows it's the nhs the documents is talking about despite the HEADLINES using nhs word? So what is documents referring to? ...anyway what's the point of debating anything with a person who as his fingers stuck in his ears while talking to them? :?: :?

Easy to see why they did it, it's working a charm with you.
Look at words like drug, pharma, and market access to see what's happening. Although obviously I know that unless the first line is 'We shall sell you the NHS' you won't believe anything.

in effect what you and the professional sandwich board man are suggesting is an end of the NHS..
its assets sold to whoever. and a move to private health care . as said by another poster it would never get through parliament no matter how big a majority BJ has , it wouldn't just end the NHS it would end the Tory party...

Won't get through parliament will it? They've just rejected a clause which would've protected the NHS from control from outside the UK.

And they've voted against parliament getting a vote on free trade agreements. I just love all the control we've now got.

Another feather in the brexit cap I suppose.

Ignoring the complete bollocks at the end.
What did you think of the actual video. I could always get you the individual clips from right wing sources if that helps?

Why don't you try stepping away from your brexit and Tory worship and take a more considered view?
