SKY ENGINEER.......?

Cant reconnect SKY after disconnecting everything for the carpet fitter.

Anyone know a SKY engineer around Cwmbran / Newport who might pop by for a few quid? Would take him 5 mins....

Ring sky , they'll talk you through it over the phone via one of their engineers

What's up? Just need to re connect the box?

Im not a sky engineer but I have quite a lot of experience with sky equipment etc. PM me if easier

Downstairs box has been reconnected OK. We have a seperate box upstairs, which has one of those little mouse connected. All seems to be plugged in correctly. We use the original TV remote still, and one of its channels comes up as SKY and we use the SKY box then.

I have checked the remote and reset the 4 numbers correctly.

Can't get the telly to come up as SKY. Except when I turn the SKY box off...........then it gets SKY, but just mirrors downstairs channels.
