Personally My View I watched the video and I don’t believe Gareth Bale even knew anything about what was on the Welsh Flag.
Bake was just celebrating :thumbright:

Bale's post-match celebrations with Wales seem to have touched a nerve

Wales will be at Euro 2020 next summer and while the country has been in raptures over the last 24 hours, it appears some in Spain aren’t overly impressed.

It all centres around Wales’ star man Gareth Bale and that “Wales, golf, Madrid” flag. Whatever your thoughts on the club-versus-country argument over the Welshman, it is impossible to ignore it.

When Ryan Giggs’ side qualified for the European tournament on Tuesday night thanks to a 2-0 win over Hungary , the post-match celebrations pushed Bale and his frosty relationship with his club Real Madrid back into the spotlight.

He was pictured dancing joyously with the “Wales, golf, Madrid” flag that has been made famous by those chants on the terraces and his club were reportedly not happy with the joke.

Neither were the Spanish media , who have now placed Bale front and centre on page one of national paper Marca with the headline: “Irrespetuoso. Desacertado. Desagradecido. En ese orden.” It translates as: “Disrespectful. Wrong. Ungrateful. In that order.”

The Welshman’s relationship with the Madrid-based media has been difficult at best, and Bale will know that when he heads back to the Spanish capital this week that he will face a spiky reception from the Los Blancos faithful.

His actions and comments over the past few days won’t have helped matters but it appears to be a situation heading towards a tense climax. After being linked with a China move over the summer, Bale is likely to find himself the subject of even more transfer links in January, not least with a possible reunion with Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho.

Bale obviously loves playing for Wales and whenever he pulls on the red shirt he plays with his heart on his sleeve. But back in Spain, he is likely to face more questions over his perceived lack of commitment.

Saw a video of them dancing and he’s singing “Wales, Golf, Madrid” with them.... think the worst part of the whole story is where they’ve said he’s stood holding the flag yet you can clearly see it’s Keiffer Moore and one of the backroom staff holding it

Agree...and I find it incredulous that he (or anyone else) should claim not to 'know' what's on that flag

Having said that, I've no issues with it. Real Madrid have treated the guy shabbily since Zidane's return and both the Spanish Sun newspaper 'Marca' and certain players have seemingly ostracised the Gareth over his preference to be with his family and (genuine) friends rather that 'live it up' with them

Money will certainly play a factor now, as Madrid attempt to claw back some credible money for him; but the only question now is where will he go?

We can all dream about the 'homecoming' but (hopefully in that it eventually happens) that is surely on ice for another season or three?

It's Jose Mourinho's Tottenham for me; but don't count out ManUre either

Personally I think that the headlines are exaggerated to try and force him out, horrible club, manager&fans 8-) the beef that zidane clearly shows,is a carry on from the end of his 1st stint as manager, and was told by Peter no,and he must be played ;) the club tied him down on purpose,to prevent him leaving by paying ridiculous wages, now they have been trying to force him out.why should he go to some club he doesn’t want to be at?trouble is,they won't buy him out of his contract, due to the cost  that's of their own making, bale like everyone of the fans and players, back room staff, were all celebrating reaching only our 3rd major tournament, so easy to get caught up in the euphoria, as someone above has alluded to,even the bbc,are printing the lies, saying he was holding the banner/flag.maybe we could take him on loan in january ,he could come on a pay as you play contract, with wages being whatever is put into collection buckets at half time :laughing5: not lie he's short of cash.

'Arrogant' Gareth Bale subjected to angry live radio attack

Producer of Jim White and Natalie Sawyer national radio show launches furious blast at Bale over those brilliant Wales celebrations

Producer of Jim White and Natalie Sawyer national radio show launches furious blast at Bale over those brilliant Wales celebrations

A national radio pundit today launched a furious tirade at Wales superstar Gareth Bale over those controversial flag celebrations.

He called on Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane to punish Bale for holding up the 'Wales. Golf. Madrid. In That Order' flag after the stunning 2-0 triumph over Hungary which sent Ryan Giggs' aces to Euro 2020.

In a further blast, Bale was told he should have thrown the flag away because he was disrespecting the club that pay his bumper wages with his Cardiff City Stadium antics.

The on-air TalkSPORT comments, made on the Jim White and Natalie Sawyer show, follow a backlash in Spain where sports paper Marca produced a front page condemning Bale .

However, Wales' players appear to be unperturbed by the row brewing around Bale. They joined him in joyously holding up the banner on the pitch and team-mates Joe Allen and Sam Vokes were then captured in the early hours singing the song with fans in Cardiff's famous Chippy ally.

TalkSPORT waded into the debate on Thursday, with presenters White and Swayer briefly taking a backseat whilst their producer, who the radio station promote by the name of ProducerJoe on social media, waded into Bale.

He hit out, starting: "Gareth knew exactly what he was doing. He must have seen it, he must have read what it said. He must have known how disrespectful that would be seen to the fans back in Madrid, the media back in Spain.

"And he still chose to pose with that flag, jump up and down and celebrate with it.

"I think he was misguided to do so because what he's done is disrespect the club that pays him 600k a week."

He went on to claim: "He's not in their good books anyway, Zidane doesn't really like him. We don't know why Zidane doesn't like him, maybe he's got an attitude problem? I think this proves that perhaps he does have an attitude problem, perhaps he's a bit arrogant."

Top presenter White intervened to say Bale wasn't the kind of individual to disrespect anybody, and also argued these were pro-Wales celebrations and nothing to do with Real Madrid.

But his producer went on: "No, sorry Jim, you play for a club, you put your soul into playing for that club, otherwise you lose the fans.

"If a player comes to my club I want to see them put everything into that club and not be posing with flags that disrespect the club he plays for, because that's exactly what he's done.

"It was a dig at Real Madrid, it's a player disrespecting the club that pays his wages. That's what he was doing.

"We know the issues he's got with Real Madrid. If he's got issues and tells his team-mates in private, that's fine. But remember he's going back to Madrid today, they've got Real Sociedad on Saturday, he's going to get booed.

"If he plays. I don't think Zidane will play him after that. He should punishing him for disrespecting the football club that pays his wages.

"Gareth Bale should have thrown away that flag and said 'No I'm not doing that because that's going to cause me trouble."
