Swansea fan on Radio Wales

Wed Nov 20, 2019 11:11 am

Anyone hear him?? Said he was fed up of swansea not getting recognition for their contribution to the Wales team and the Swansea players barely getting a mention.

He then proceeded to talk about the recent Swansea Cardiff game in which he accused Cardiff based BBC of only ever talking about Cardiff.

Rob Phillips couldn't believe what he was hearing on such a big night for Wales and effectively cut him off.

In fairness a few Swansea supporters who'd rang in said they were embarrassed by the caller.

IMO Swansea supporters should be proud of the Clubs contribution to the Welsh squad , two finals now with a fair smattering of players contributing to that fact.If only Cardiff could be as suscessful rather than (and no disrepect meant ) players from English clubs then they may not be the need for the cock waving on which goes on here .

At the end of the day club sides don’t come into it during internationals, we gave Ashley Williams plenty of abuse when Bristol came down, last night he was applauded as he ran the touch line to warm up.

The guy was an idiot with an inferiority complex by the sounds of it, which is a strange thing to have on your mind when your Country has just qualified for Euro 2020.

The jacks are not exactly known for being big fans of national team.
Respect to the minority of them who do actually come.
Never mind, we'll enjoy the euros next summer while they can sit in swansea with their union jacks thinking of things to moan about.

Another wonderful myth created on this forum.

Why do swans fans feel the need to use a city identity to come on here? :o
