Off Topic: Any tinnitus sufferers on here?

I am interested to hear your experiences.

I have suffered for decades, however after just turning 50, it’s the loudest and most distracting it’s ever been. I have tolerated and dealt with it for so long, that’s beginning to change.

yes i have suffered with it for years ,at the stage now if im in a full room with people or place of noise I cant hear it,but if I am in a room alone at home or the wife and kids are out etc with no one around I never get silence now as soon as I am alone by myself the noise is there constant so at this point now sometimes when you want some peace and quiet I now never get it .

the other week I went to bed and this very high pitched noise came in my head for about a minute and id never had it that bad ,luckily it went but if thats how bad it can get i couldnt live with that it was the noise of when you used to have the high pitched tone on the tv late at night very high,no way could you have that constantly .

I have read up on it to see if anything affects it or can reduce it just so it doesnt get worse .

not sure what yours is like but feel for you mate .

I don't suffer it personally, but was looking on youtube a few weeks back, about a guy who had it for years, tried some home made remedy and it has gone! Sorry, don't have names or anything, but just type in something like, home made tinitis remedy,it should come up,or Google it. :old: :bluebird:

Thank you will try that, strange I have tolerated it for years, but the last few months it’s reaching real high volumes it’s excruciating. And of course no cure, no real help on NHS , I have tried all the recommended suggestions to help aliviate it. Let’s hope it gets drowned out at the match tomorrow with happy welsh voices!
