WHY THE HATE ON NEIL HARRIS

Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:25 pm

Cardiff Have Under Performed This Season But After Warnock Left Who Would Ideally Be The Perfect Fit, Neil Harris.
I Don't Mind The Appointment Because Cardiff Need Stability After Warnock And A Smooth Transition With The Manager Change And They Have.

Whoever Don't Like The Signing Need To Rethink Because He Is Now Part Of Our Club And We Dont Bad Mouth Our New Manager Whoever It Is.

I Back The Decision From The Club And Wish For Good Fortune With Him At The Helm, The Team Needs A Rebuild In Confidence AND Performance On And Off The Pitch. With The Way Our Season Is Going I Think We Will Just Miss Out On Any Play-Off Spot But As Long As We Are Roughly 7th To 10th I Will Be Satisfied.

So Let Me Know Down Below If You Think Cardiff Went With The Sensible Appointment.

I think he will do a similar job to what Warnock might have done. He may get us back into the playoffs, or at-least next season. It’s not about his success though. As I said, he might turn out to be as successful as Warnock was. However, we got tired of Warnocks football, not just the results. The games that we can enjoy has been very rare since last season. We boo the performances this season, not the results. Neil Harris’ history for Millwall shows us that the football isn’t far from Warnock ball, and in a lot of people’s opinion nobody does long ball better than Warnock, so what are we gaining essentially committing with the same football, under a less proven manager when it hasn’t even worked under Warnock with this group of players this season.

I and many others strongly and passionately believe this should have been the springboard to finally get a young hungry manager who knows the club inside out, who the fans will give time to achieve more enjoyable football. We’ve missed that opportunity and have resorted to a statistically worse version of Warnock, at this current time.

There’s not much to look forward to, when you consider the football this season has been abysmal.

I will answer your question if you will answer this question - why do you start every word you write with a capital letter? - It's not big and it's not clever. Please refrain from doing so!

To be fair, you have to give Sam Rean some leeway :thumbright:

He's young, he has his issues and he's only trying to contribute ;) :ayatollah:

Actually the thing about Harris is no one is sure whether he will be a good manager or not. With Warnock you knew he almost certainly be good because of his past record. With Trollope you thought he would be bad because of his past record. Slade somewhere in between. Harris has a decent record with Millwall with no money to spend so despite the underwhelming nature of the appointment he might be better than expected but no one knows.

Fully appreciate that Sven mate, and I'd like to think of myself as a fair poster, I have never belittled him, only trying to help him out.

I would be interested in reading what he has to say but I find his posts hard to read, my eyes jump all over the page with the every word started with a capital letter, told him a few times but he doesn't listen.

He was my least favourite from all the supposed contenders mentioned.

I was fuming and gutted with the appointment, and I didn't get any of my shortlist of 5.

I am relieved its over

I am relieved Warnock is gone

So I get behind Harris, will support him and wish him luck.

I am not expecting the changes in style, players, academy, Welsh contingent and attacking mentality that I crave, Not just overnight because he inherits a poor squad, but long term as I just don't see it on his CV

So I don't think this will end well, however I hope he's a hit and proves me wrong

Welcome aboard Neil (get some Welsh players in)

Well. He ain’t going to change that overnight, a few windows, I just want it to be a part of all our managers thought process. And for Harris to have that as part of his criteria for the future. He will see lots of city fans at the game tommorow night, and hopefully he gets it, that we love our club and country and want a bigger connection, filter and bond between the two. Break a bit of bread with the Wakes under 21 set up, be in the know if players become available fir transfer or loan etc.

To answer your question , Ampadu on loanJonny Williams (if fitness issues behind him) realisticly that’s about it.

We could have had Lawrence for longer, Wilson on loan and Brooks over last few years, and Woodburn before his dip. Go back further, and there’s a lot more,

If your hinting it’s not that realistic at the moment or Harris priority right now your right. But I want it to improve, we can’t rely on our academy for Welsh players sadly

i don’t think anyone hates Harris... rather they see him as a poor fit for the job. Have to agree with Leon. As for backing managers blind, feck that. He got to earn that right. Apart from Tan and Dahlman, I haven’t heard of anyone who thinks it’s a good idea.
