Vincent Tan ...nothing whatsoever to do with football before he joined Cardiff....but no doubt saved the club when it was on the Floor.
Dalman appointed Chairman shortly after joining board...brokers deals but no real football knowledge.
Ken Choo appointed Chief Exec...very astute business wise. but no football experience.
Whilst these three decide on our Managers we are going to be in the World of Slade Trollope and Harris(if appointed)..whilst we dont know if Dalman and Choo have taken advice on appointments... it appears not.
I mean , when they appointed Trollope there was a lot of the hype that we were going to play like Wales as they had just been so successful....we didn t have the type or style of players to play that way and Trollope miserably failed.
Now with imminent appointment of Harris...i dread to think what their vision is....would a far more important signing have been an experienced old hand as Director of Football and take his guidance on the next Manager
or would they have got that appointment wrong!
Just some thoughts...but if Harris is appointed i fear we are not improving but evn going backwards.

Slade had managed about a dozen clubs and not won a promotion or managed at this level.
Trollope had not managed for 6 years, and wasn't exactly biting anyones hand off to get this job.
Harris reached the play offs, did it again and won, then had a good year 8th , followed by a not so good one 17th..
and he was managing Millwall ?
we have had far worse appointments.

Fair point, and true about Slade and Trollope, we have had way worse than Harris. But it’s the so called other contenders versus Harris which is causing the unrest, as they have much better credentials, however everything is in limbo and in speculation mode. And we don’t know what’s going on, whose been spoken to, whose declined etc. . Would an unemployed cheap young manager like Harris been appointed by now?
