there.. as for automatically qualify if Wales win both games they qualify automatically if Slovakia fail to beat Croatia.....
if they get 4points they qualify if Slovakia get only two points from both their games left... simples

Is this true? Current standings
1 Croatia 14
2 Hungary 12
3 Wales 11
4 Slovakia 10
5 Azerbaijan 1
By my calc, if Slovakia beat Croatia, they would have 13 points and one game left against Azerbaijan.
If we fail to beat Hungry, that would leave us 4th.
How are we guaranteed a play-off spot?

We came 2nd in our group in nations cup and because a lot of the group winners have automatically qualified already most 2nd place teams go into playoffs, which is a one off game no 2 legs ! Complicated but we have made playoffs draw 30th November

much depends on the Denmark v ROI game to night as to who we play should we not win.
ROI win and we play Denmark away in a one off semi. that's certain.
ROI lose or draw we are defo home... but against who is more complicated..
still assuming ROI haven't won..its
if we draw with Hungary and Slovakia beat Azerbaijan....we play ROI HOME
we draw with Hungary ...and Slovakia draw or lose with Azerbaijan....we play Slovakia...HOME
we lose to Hungary and it becomes irrelevant how Slovakia do .. we play Slovakia HOME

Take you word for it?looked at it and think all I got was we are at home as cannot play a team higher ranked than us? But be glad if we win Tues then its irrelevant!

If there is only one team in path a (Iceland) then the three highest ranked teams in nations league b go into path a. However teams who won their nations league group cannot be moved into a higher path so even though someone previously on the thread said we could get Denmark in the playoffs we can't as we're guaranteed to be in path a.

yes was me...and yes I missed a bit, but think you have too...its not simple is it ?
if four or more teams from a league enter the play offs, a path with four teams from the league in question must be formed..
if there are more than 4 a draw will take place to decide which 4 will participate in the play off of that league.
remaining teams will be drawn in the path of a higher league...
