Callum Paterson Right Back

If our new manager changes our style and we play possession football with our full backs encouraged to attack, surely paterson isna great option there? Right back for hearts and scotland surely his defending is not as bad as warnock said? Did warnock say he cant defend because he didnt like the fact paterson liked to get forward and attack?

Me personally would love to see what paterson can do at right back...

Can't see it myself,he'd get tuned every week because it seems most clubs in this league have fast tricky wide men.

personally thought he did fantastic for us the year we went up arriving at the right time to steal in and score.

but eh oh .. maybe we would have been better with him at right back and being mid table.

I think his best position is defensive midfielder . He seems to have all the attributes to suit that role but never plays there

Potentially could play right wing back, I think he would be an awful right back.

Paterson is a Striker for us now, in a way thats how adaptable Paterson is if he can play anywhere for us. he would be a good goalie if you asked him to.

With training he would be an ideal number 9.
