Doesn't really tally for me, who would have forced neil into making that leaving statement if true he surely would have had something to say about it imho,I would imagine, that after he announced he was leaving at the end of the season,perhaps he gave board permission to look whilst still here, it's all a bit strange

With Warnock leaving at the end of the season, I would be disappointed if we weren’t talking to possible replacements. Businesses do it all the time when they know a senior manager is leaving

Warnock would have been 100% aware that planning for his replacement had already started
