What a gesture it would be if Cardiff city football club offerd Niel Warnock the role of footballing director in recognition of his service to the club in building the support back as it should be .

Really not sure why we havn't tried to offer him this role

Wise move not to. I never want to see that style of football, or those type of transfer signings at my club again.

No way. Would be a dreadful decision to make him director of football, his record in the transfer market spending money has been abysmal.

I don't think he is finished as a manager yet. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes on a new club before Christmas to be honest. In terms of a footballing director I think we need someone younger who is more in touch with the modern game. Also, as mentioned above his track recent track record for spending money is pretty poor.
