NEIL WARNOCK ALWAYS SAID WHEN HE FELT IT WAS NOT WORKING OUT ANYMORE OR HE FELT HE WAS NOT WANTED, HE WOULD LEAVE HIMSELF.
The Sheff Wednesday home game and Warnock’s last home game v Bristol City and of course Swansea Away , the team was booed of by some sections of Cardiff fans.
Behind the scenes everything was not rosey and even the Cardiff owner Vincent Tan in 18 League & Cup games had not even attended one Cardiff game this season.
Warnock has just stated Dalman asked me to stay till the end of December, but I felt the time was right to leave now and not let it become sour here and leave still loved by Cardiff’s amazing fans. “Thank you Cardiff City Fans.”
Cardiff City Chairman Dalman:
“It was Neil’s decision to go. I really wanted him to stay until the end of the season but he felt it was time for a change. I think he was quite relieved when I had a chat with him and we felt it was right. He left on his own terms. He’s been a great servant to the club.”
Was he sacked?
“Oh good god no.”
