Very sad, but it’s brought excitement back

Tue Nov 12, 2019 6:53 am

It’s been a horrible season, it just has. Looking on the forum all season and it does appear some people are satisfied being mid table. At the end of the day, I would be happy being in the playoffs even if our football is infuriating to watch. The fact is, we were not only playing crap football on the counter with no real threat in attack, but we also haven’t been doing well. No wins away yet, really?

I’m gutted Warnock has gone, but that’s not to say I don’t think it’s the right thing, I believe it is.

Whichever way you want to spin in, excitement is back again and the feeling of endless possibility is back, suddenly playoffs look achievable again, just from the prospect of a new manager with new ideas.
Yes, we all know we’re not miles away from the relegation zone, but that’s not a reason to keep Warnock. If Warnock wanted to leave, I believe he did so knowing we had better chance of success with a new guy in charge, his fire and X factor at the club had run out, it just did. Best manager at the club since I’ve been supporting Cardiff, but hopefully we say that about the next guy too!

Not sure how the play offs look achievable again when we don't even know who the new manager is. If the club get this wrong, relegation could be equally achievable. I think with our current squad, top ten should be realistic but I doubt if we can get into the play offs this season.
