NEIL WARNOCKS WIFE & WARNOCK HIMSELF READ

Mon Nov 11, 2019 7:28 pm

Both read this forum regularly :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Knowing Neil Warnock he will want to read/see what our fans thought of his time here at Cardiff City :bluebird:

My View:

To work under the current regime and be Successful when so many others failed, is an achievement in itself :thumbright: :bluebird:

Neil, you took Cardiff on when our club was sinking fast, you saved us from relegation, you got us promoted on a small budget, you nearly kept us up in the Premier League on another small budget, Amazing Achievements :thumbright: :bluebird:

You, United Our Club when we were so divided :thumbright: :bluescarf:

But this season, something has badly gone wrong?
Only you or those at the top of of our club can really answer that.

Thank you NEIL WARNOCK for everything :thumbright: :bluescarf:

Neil you will leave our club as a real Cardiff City Legend :thumbright: :bluebird:

Good luck with what ever you decide to do :thumbright:

Without a doubt my favourite manager since supporting the club, yes he made some mistakes but what manager doesn't. Do I think we are better club for having him here the last 3 years? Yes. So many memories and handled himself with class.

Always get a warm welcome from me

It was your time to go Warnock. You failed this season..

We'll always be thankful for the promotion and making a good fight of it last season.

But this was the right time for you to move on and glad you've come to the correct conclusion.

I just want to say thank you Neil... many people have short memories and when I consider where we were prior to you joining you worked absolute miracles to get us promoted. For that season alone you will forever be a city legend.

Add to that the fact we ALMOST stayed up last season was in itself an achievement.

Sometimes a manager is a victim of their own success and over achievement and that is almost certainly the case here.

So glad we played a part in your Stella managerial career and that we wrote history together.

Thank you, Neil

Best Manager in my 50 years of following this club
Best of luck to you Sharon and the rest of the family

Just posted below but will reiterate my gratitude to neil and sharon for coming to our club and without doubt reigniting it again.

I was very close to walking away forever due to the rebrand and thanks to neil he has got my passion back...

Neil you have made a very difficult decision today and thank you for staying on in Jan in what was an awful time for you personally in something that is indescribable and tragic.

Neil and Sharon you will always be welcome back to wales. A true football legend who deserves now to relax in his home in Devon trying not to drive Sharon too mad....buy yourself a retirement tractor as a present

Best wishes

So sad to see him go. Our type of manager. I hope some of the recent unfair threads on this board did not influence his decision. I knew this was coming when Neil announced it was his last season but I wanted to give him a great send off at the end of the season. Thanks Neil you are now a Cardiff legend.

Massive thank you. You changed the club for the better. Your time here will be fondly remembered.

My 8 year old son is gutted. He's only known you as our gaffer.

Is that really all you have to say after he literally picked us up from the arse end of the championship and on a endless downward spiral. His player management and media play bonded us and lifted is back onto the track, thanks to him we now know where we are going. Show some f*cking compassion!

No to mention we feel like Cardiff again...that over rides everything else. I dont think many if any other managers could have dont what he did.

Yes massive thanks Neil, I was one who thought it was time for change.

You'll now be remembered as the man who reignited our club, the flames,
it's passion and the fans. Some players weren't playing for you as you're probably
aware. A new brush will clear those out of our system.

Good luck in your retirement with your wife and family. you richly deserve it.

Cardiff City legend.

Best manager for Cardiff ever. Selfishly I genuinely hope this was your last club so nobody else can have you haha, but whatever you choose to do, I hope you are forever happy and live a wonderful life in retirement whenever you decide to do so. Absolutely love you Neil <3 . Your record of not signing good strikers in your whole career has unfortunately followed you here Neil, that was the reason this season was flat unfortunately, nothing to do with you as a manager, and everyone knows that, that is why you’re still so loved and will be sorely missed.

I think it was time for Neil to go, but it’s just a shame that he didn’t keep us up last season. He’s the type of manager that deserved to go out on a high.

Best manager since I supported Cardiff City (27 years)

Cardiff legend!

Without being mawkish or sentimental I wish Neil and his wife the best for the future, getting promotion in a blue shirt was special. Will be surprised if he is not the manager of one of the Edinburgh clubs by Xmas.

Strangely if it was another manager sacked, every Cardiff fan would be screaming for the club to appoint Neil Warnock,he brought pride and passion back to our club, when we badly needed it,for some reason to me the passion hasn’t been there this year

One of my favourite City managers ever. He gave us our pride back and gave us a fighting spirit like i've never seen before.
Sadly I think the Sala tragedy took more out of him than he let on. He's not been the same since.
I hope him and his missus enjoy their retirement and pop in to the CCS from time to time where he'll always be welcome.
An absolute hero and gentleman.
Cheers Neil and thank-you for everything x :ayatollah:

It's just my honest opinion.

Show some compassion? He's left the club as manager, he's not dead.

Managers come and go.
