New Manager

Mon Nov 11, 2019 6:58 pm

When appointing Manager these days the fist thing you need to think of is not there coaching Ability sadly but there ability to manage people egos. Most managers fail not because of there ability but players and changing rooms get the upper hand.
Gutted to see Warnock go remember that dreadful week before he came in lost at Preston on the Tuesday and Burton Albion on the Saturday after 50 years of following the City that week nearly broke me.
However I think the timing is right season still plenty to play for transfer window to come plenty of time to identify targets and this is the Big But the next appointment will show us the ambition the club has going forward.
For me I would like to see the club offer Preston the 3.5 million in compensation and get Alex Neil in no guarantees but worked miracles at Norwich and Preston.

While I agree with you on Alex Neil, there’s no way our club is going to part with 3.5 million, or anything like that for a manager.
Well go for a free agent,,,there are plenty currently available, IMHO.

After a disaster of a transfer window they need to show some ambition 3.5 million is a fraction of what they should and could have spent in the last window.

I understand what you’re saying, but until the ES situation is sorted I can’t see that type of money being spent on new players, let alone a new manager. I just can’t see it’s financially viable, as things stand at the moment in any case.

Cardiff City won’t be paying any money out for Sala if they lose the case it will be there insurance company.
They are the ones refusing to pay not the club.
