Remembrance at the Sand Martin Pub

Sun Nov 10, 2019 8:34 pm

Having spent the morning in the Sand Martin Pub, I was pleased to hear they were not only observing a minutes silence to remember our fallen hero’s, but also offering a free pint to all military personnel. This lovely gesture is far from expected, but greatly appreciated!

That's superb!

I was at the Cathays Park Remembrance event before the game to pay my respects and got into the stadium just as the one started there...

Credit to every supporter (from both clubs) who observed impeccably  :ayatollah:

I’m attending an official remembrance parade tomorrow, but totally agree that it was nice to see football rivalries put aside for an impeccably observed minute of silence.

Also, credit to the Bristol City fans who applauded the memory of recently deceased Cardiff City fans during the half-time interval.
