A forum for all things Cardiff City

I said a couple of weeks ago that I thought it was time for him to go.
Today I feel that even stronger.
Our away form is terrible and today we failed to score at home against a Bristol City side who have a terrible defensive record away.
He has done a lot of good for the club and we all thank him for it.
But it's time to go Warnock.

2 Derby losses is just too bad for that alone deserves sacking absolutely shocking
Sun Nov 10, 2019 1:58 pm
He won't go his press conference will be the same as the rest how we played some good football and how we was unlucky to lose this game blah blah f*cking blah
Sun Nov 10, 2019 1:59 pm
A big overreaction to what is a very disappointing result. We played really well today and we were unlucky not to have won the game. Beaten by a great strike. I get your point about the away form but now is not the time for this kind of call

Completely agree. Dreadful signings, awful football, not going anywhere, and the hoofball is painful to watch. Thanks for the memories but its time to go. Warnock out.

Bristol City's first away clean sheet of the season. We are clueless in front of goal!
Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:04 pm
How we have ended up with this squad of players is a crime in itself. Promotion... we have all been sold up the river I may look for a season ticket refund on grounds of false advertising
Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:05 pm
Omar Bogle is one of the worst strikers i have seen at cardiIff...he should have been off half time and the tea lady should have gone on
Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:06 pm
Too many players more concerned with their hairstyles and tattoos than their football. This was a poor performance once again in a local derby. How anybody can say CCFC played well today is beyond me. cardiff could not even step up the pace in the last five minutes. Mid table mediocrity.

Can I please have a pint of what you are drinking?
Played really well?? Good grief, I disagree.

Cardiff very poor today. Where were the missing fans? 10000 empty seats against Cardiff's biggest rivals.
Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:07 pm
Get Warnock out now before xmas, new manager for January transfer window. Football is absolutely shocking.

A very good question from Footsoldier in previous post.

We’re you really that swayed by a few half decent attacks? The issue is deeper than this game we have an awful, lifeless squad with no quality

We controlled most of the game until they got Palmer on and changed their shape. We came close to scoring on many occasions. The positioning of Bogle in the box for many of our crosses was very poor, had been better we could be taking about a big win

Agree 100%

1 nil down and he takes off the ONLY 2 players with any quality - it so predictable every week. His decision making is completely gone and if his sides don’t outfight the opposition, his style gives us nothing.

Hoilett was the only player who looked like just maybe he could score or assist, so warnock subs him for Patterson
Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:30 pm
Ppl saying overreaction what were u watching we had possession done what with it couple 30 yard shots hitting bar another dire afternoon of footie better than the Jack's game but that's not hard really is it theres next to no passion the football has been dire for weeks if not all season only brightend up getting 4 against Birmingham. Warnock has done wonders for the club and fanbase but he has to go the constant playing of the same one up top system just ain't working dont get why tomlin came off for whyte yes tomlin didn't do a lot but hes the one bit of creativity we have and 1-0down instead of 2 strikers on swaps bogle for madine I mean come on we chasing game and he makes subs like we playing to keep a 1-0 international break on way ideal chance for change jokanovic Ainsworth mike flynn younger managers I'd take any of them

Big win lol what were u watching you moan about bogle but he had next to no service again nothing to do with the constant same dire tactics week in week out from warnock is what isn't helping

I said after Swansea it's probably time for the old master to go.
This is where we have to be shrewd and box clever.
It's unlikely either promotion or relegation will happen this season, therefore we should be planning for next August.
Plenty of time to search for a Manager and a philosophy that will suit the club and our realistic targets.
Making a rash decision now would be I think ridiculous.
Some forward thinking is needed and the bigger picture looked at rather than any knee jerk reactions.

The club decided they were happy to get relegated last season, telling us we had a team to challenge this season , do a Burnley .....,mid table in an average Championship after 16 games ....not good enough !!
The board also have a case to answer , complacency set in after the promotion and we need to tear it up and start again
Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:06 pm
He has to go soon, can anyone really say that they are enjoying the style of football? His biggest mistake was saying this was his last season, he should have gone in the summer. Warnock done a tremendous job of turning the club around but we are now in danger of it all being undone.
The problem is who is going to take over? Knowing our club it won't be a young manager who plays attacking football it will be Pulis or Bracewell.
Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:08 pm
Only two words to describe today’s performance - f*cking embarrassing.
Warnock has been a brilliant manager for us over the past few seasons but I do feel the time is right for change, Warnock would be great moving upstairs as a DOF role between the board and new manager but we need a new manager with new ideas to bring some life back into this squad.
The thing is we’ve got the players and the talent to be top or there about a just lack the direction, ambition, tactics and desire to be there.
Listened to Lee Johnson interview on TalkSport on the way home and he said there are 15 teams still in the fight for promotion all with 14/15 superb quality players and decent depth to their squads to compete for places in the match day line ups. The only way we can push for promotion is to change manager otherwise the only fighting we will be doing on the pitch is with Stoke for the last relegation spot

Looks like a team going through the motions with warnock going at the end of the season time for a change
