MY VIEW/OPINION

CARDIFF HIT THE WOODWORK THREE TIMES / BRISTOL CITY GRABBED THE THREE POINTS & WITH CARDIFF LOSING THEIR UNBEATEN HOME RECORD.

For me poor finishing from Cardiff cost Cardiff the three points.

Over all a dour game and poor atmosphere for a derby game.

Three points lost and for me Cardiff def do not look like a club looking for promotion this season .

For me Cardiff had No real urgency in the last 10mins, very disappointing to see .

First-Half The match was quite dour until Hoilett hit the crossbar and then for the last 15mins of the game Cardiff had numerous shots and should of been ahead by h/t 0-0.

CARDIFF CITY 0 BRISTOL CITY 1
Crowd 23,846
Away Crowd 2,000 Worzels

Cardiff City: Etheridge; Peltier, Nelson, Flint, Bennett; Pack, Bacuna; Mendez-Laing, Tomlin, Hoilett; Bogle.

Subs: Smithies, Vaulks, Paterson, Whyte, Bamba, Madine, Coxe.

It took 33mins for the match to have any life, Junior Hoilett hit the Bristol City crossbar, which not only brought the crowd to life, Cardiff then created a number of chances and shots.

H/t 0-0

Bacuna hit the crossbar for Cardiff but minutes later Bristol City went ahead 0-1
With the 2,000 Bristol fans celebrating and bringing the stadium to life.

For me there was no real urgency from Cardiff and yet again poor finishing.

Cardif had no ambition for promotion I at end of last season after being relegated judging by the players they brought in to replace the players they lost

The one position we looked decent in was in the wide areas and for some reason Warnock changed it to bring on Whyte who offers nothing at all going forward. Also Tomlin was doing well, why replace him.

Frustrating as we were the better team imo.

Are Cardiff still using wooden post? Every other football league team have lightweight metal posts these days.

I said it after four of five games and I will say it again we are nothing more than an indifferent mid table championship side no where near good enough for the playoffs but probably good enough not to be sucked into a relegation struggle. It says it all when we replace Bogle with a striker who has not scored a goal in three season playing with us. I hope all the Warcock can do no wrong loons are starting to realise there is no chance of us making the playoffs and we need to replace Warnock Sooners rather than later, certainly before the season ends.

The club should have the balls to make the decision this evening to let warnock go.
It is awful to watch this team struggle and for us to play the same way each week with the same results.

Time to freshen things up now.

Didn’t think we deserved to lose today and maybe on another day might have got something. On paper apart from Ralls missing I thought we would win today.
Subs too little too late, tactics, players off form and so on.
Pack my MOTM.

Move warnock out get some one in before next window, get some decent players.

I tried my hardest to get to the game. Caerphilly to Cardiff trains were either too early or too late. I decided to drive in, but i could not park anywhere! also the traffic was terrible - could not of picked a worst day for this fixture

The magic ingredient isnt there at the moment. That something is missing. I dont no what that something is people get payed by the club to figure that out.
What I do no which is evident is we dont score enough goals while leak goals especially on the road.
We tried every striker at the club it dont work.
People might disagree here but flint doesnt work for me bamba has been a huge miss for us.
Tempo is slow for long periods aswell and the strikers dont get a brilliant service from out wide do they.

Being relegated and trying at the first attempt to be in the mix is a hard ask for any club.
Then you have the sala thing going on.

Warnock isnt a crap coach nor are the players bad players just need a system that works for us .
Time to change it up a bit
