'Letting Bobby Reid join Fulham was odd' - Bristol City view on Cardiff City's 'surprise' transfer business

The Robins are the visitors for the Severnside derby on Sunday
Cardiff City welcome Bristol City to Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday in one of the most anticipated fixtures of the season.
The Severnside derby always carries with it something extra, and to a certain extent it is down to the number of Bluebirds players with Robins connections.
Marlon Pack headed west over the summer, while Aden Flint and Lee Tomlin have also played at Ashton Gate. A player who left Cardiff this summer, Bobby Reid, also played for both sides, and the decision to let him leave puzzled supporters at the time.
We asked Gregor MacGregor of BristolLive for his view of Cardiff so far this season, and he too saw Reid's departure as a strange one...
From the outside looking in, how have you seen Cardiff City’s start so far? Are you surprised?
Absolutely surprised. I tipped Cardiff City to go straight back up following relegation and maybe should have had more respect for the rigours of the Championship.
Neil Warnock’s record of eight promotions is not to be sniffed at and I always back a manager over a collection of good players. I think Warnock will get it right given time but what did also surprise me was the transfer business the Bluebirds did in the summer. Being this side of the Bridge, Bobby Reid looked ideal for leading the line or playing as Cardiff’s No10 this season.
So to let him go to a promotion rival seemed odd, while from the little I’ve seen Cardiff don’t seem to have particularly improved their front-line despite Zohore and Reid moving on. Maybe time will tell.

No goals yet and 15 games in, I'd say ne was a one season wonder and the only ones laughing are Bristol City with £10M in the bank

He has made 14 appearances for Fulham this season and has not scored. The Bristol 'Golden boy' is not so great is he.

Would we still sell him if we get hit with a 3 window ban?

I'm sure I read at the time,it was season long loan, and purchase at the end of it? Could be wrong mind.He didn't want to be here,so I've already forgotten him, same as zohore, saw he got a couple of mins yesterday, and all he did of note, was get caught offside.
