I think whoever wins one week has to drive the last placed car the next week.
Then we would see who the best driver is. All we see now is who has the most money to spend

Changes coming for 2021 include a pice cap on spending, all cars exactly the same, different ways of qualifying and few new ideas for qualifying and race day too

Which Ferrari will veto.

I used to think the same. Although I had never actually met him as a person.
A friend of mine works at Mercedes as their fitness co-ordinator. She can’t praise him highly enough. Says he knows the name of everyone who works at their HQ and has a nice word for everyone. Says his public demeanour is miles away from his actual personality. She said what he did at Silverstone when he bought beers for all the volunteers then spent hours chatting to them (when he could have been at various parties draped in models) and she said that’s a regular occurrence for him.
He’s an elite athlete at the very top of his sport. Us Brits seem to hate those. Look at Andy Murray.

Fair play to him then if true (normally no reason to doubt what you say).
Just going by what I see from the outsidw. But your more informative comments suggest I'm wrong on that.
Not a big follower of F1 so will lend further weight to your words than mine!
I still think his personality will hold him back, but will admit defeat on his ability - F1 fans know more than me.
