Cardiff City XI: Etheridge; Peltier, Nelson, Flint, Bennett; Pack, Bacuna; Mendez-Laing, Tomlin, Hoilett; Bogle.

Pay on the day for Cardiff City fans :thumbright:

Cardiff will have to make late fitness calls over Joe Ralls and Gavin Whyte. Robert Glatzel, Sean Morrison and Isaac Vassell will also miss the clash through injury.

Danny Ward suspended

CARDIFF CITY :bluebird:

Captain and centre-back Sean Morrison was known to be out of Sunday's contest due to a broken wrist which will keep him out of action until the end of the month.

But the Bluebirds could also be without midfield engine Joe Ralls as the 26-year-old, who scored a hat-trick in last weekend's 4-2 win over Birmingham City, is a major doubt with a groin strain.

"Joe Ralls has struggled this week, so we’re not sure about him," Warnock said . "I won’t risk him if there’s any doubt. He’s been carrying this for six weeks now. It gives others an opportunities."

I can't get to Cardiff City Stadium, is the match on TV?

Yes, the match is live on Sky Sports.

About Bristol City

Bristol City Football Club is a professional football club based in Bristol, England. They currently play in the Championship, the second tier of English football. Founded in 1894, they have played their home games at Ashton Gate since 1904.

The club's highest ever league finish was second in the top flight in 1906–07. They were FA Cup runners-up in 1909, and won the Welsh Cup in 1934 despite being an English team. The club have also won the second tier title once, the third tier title four times, the Anglo-Scottish Cup once, and the Football League Trophy a record three times.

The club's home colours are red and white, and their nickname is The Robins—a robin featured on the club's badge from 1976 to 1994 and from 2019 onwards. Their main rivals are Bristol Rovers, with whom they contest the Bristol derby, and Cardiff City, with whom they contest the Severnside derby.

For fans of my era, this is the big one. Bristol were always our biggest rivals and if I could choose just one team to beat all season, it would be Bristol. Think there will be good crowd for this one, and more often than not these tend to be tight games. I have a feeling this could be another score draw.

Agree, Steve :thumbright:

Added to it, my grandad was a Rovers player/fan back in the day when there was a real rivalry, so he helped make it (for me) the traditional 'derby' it should be seen as even today

The Swansea thing is a rivalry; but (for me mainly with their 'fans' rather than their club) who started the real angst when they threw wooden chairs at women, children and the elderly in the grand Stand. I've never seen so many 'reasonable' people try to get over there and (all joking aside) it would have been one-sided carnage!

Bring on the Wurzels; our match vision is forward not backwards! :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Yes, don't like to see us losing to any team, but hate seeing either of the Bristol sides beating us. For me it stems back to the Scoular days when both Bristol City and ourselves were evenly matched in the same division that we are in now. I was convinced we were on our way to the top flight with the side we had at the time, but we never quite made it.

Cardiff City 2-1 Bristol City. I reckon they'll be desperate to make up for the Swansea result here and we'll edge it through sheer effort and determination. Also handy that Hoilett and Mendez seem to have hit a bit of form now, but im still concerned about the defence. Be interesting to see if he also decides to play Tomlin and is it Bogle or Paterson :?:

Go on you know you do!! ;)

I’m in Thailand then and it’s only a 7.00pm KO for me.
Problem being finding a bar with a championship match being shown!

Paul, I take my (adjusted) Fire Stick with me whenever I'm abroad and never had an issue getting a City game on. Was in the USA when we got promotion last time out. Up at the crack of dawn, watched the game in bed and a celebratory Sunday Brunch in the aptly named House of Blues (or House of Bluebirds, as I now call it) :thumbright:

Enjoy your trip regardless, mate! :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

What are the odds?

The bookies have Cardiff City at 21/20 to win.

The draw is at 5/2 and a Bristol City win is 13/5.
