I played Rugby more than I played Football but I agree and the sentiment is the same.
Played a Football Cup final at Ton Pentre in bleak conditions but the worst ever for me was a 7's Rugby tournament in hailstones now that was brutal and almost an a par with a time I had asthma attack at the bottom of a ruck on a rain soaked field in Abertillery, luckily can laugh about it now
