Annual Remembrance Services and events will take place at The Cenotaph, Cathays Park, Cardiff (behind the City Hall), in Newport, Caerphily, Cowbridge and many other towns and villages throughout the country starting c.10:30am (for a minutes silence at 11am) on Sunday 10th November

Let us also remember the 27 million Russian war dead.It was on the Eastern Front that Hitler was smashed.Roughly 85% of Wehrmacht casualties were sustained in the East.The suffering imposed by Germany is lost on us here in the west who all too often forget about where the war was really won.I had two uncles who served , one was at Dunkirk puling men out of the water.
The gallantry shown by all British, Irish,Commonwealth troops was remarkable and their contribution crucial.The irony was we had to align ourselves to a vicious tyrant in order to sustain our democracy.
