The latest on Junior Hoilett and Lee Tomlin

There’s not much light at the moment with Tomlin. He’s had an injection and although there’s nothing untoward on the scan he’s not feeling right.

He hasn’t trained now for the best part of 10 days, so it’s difficult because he was going to be a big part against Swansea and this weekend.

But we’ve just got to get on with it.

Junior did some light training yesterday. He’s still got a bit of fluid there, but there’s no tear as such. Hopefully another few days will bring him back into contention.

Think we may struggle without at least one of those. We can play the best wingers / strikers in the world but there has to be a way of getting good ball to them in order for them to be effective

Tbh I think its the way we play it is generally so high tempo cannot expect players not 100% fit to play and as rule lots players have niggly injuries but can play but not at city!

Who’s going to be our middle three you reckon? Pack, Ralls and Bacuna?
I’d rather Murphy there (to start) just behind Bogle then Bacuna & Pack sitting. NML and Whyte on wings. but I’m pretty certain it won’t be anything like that.

Paterson will be one no doubt as for others who knows with NW could throw a curve ball after sundays performance
