I don’t know what we can do. I know we all think we’re crap but we have really good players at the club. Let’s be honest, our defence has been leaking goals since the first day of the season. It’s 100% down to having 2 slow defenders who both share very similar attributes which don’t go well together. As soon as Bamba is back we will all be reminded of that. We all have our thoughts on what’s gone wrong and who’s fault it is, and ofcourse we have to look at the manager, we just have to. It’s his players and I know for a fact A fair few of you had concerns before the window shut that this team didn’t look right. We all knew Flint replacing Bruno didn’t make sense, or that Vaulks & Nelson didn’t make up for the loss of Gunnars, Camarasa or Arter, and that we still needed a full back (luckily this hasn’t been a problem for us yet). I don’t think we replace Reid or Zohore appropriately either. Nobody plays like Zohore at this club, he’s unique, he often pushed us forward at times of desperation at the back. Something Glatzel can’t quite do. We’re lucky to have Tomlin because I dread to think how many points we would have without him this season.
That’s just the summary of Warnocks awful transfer window, but let’s not forget we can still put together the majority almost exactly the same side that got us promoted 2 years ago. For example Pack for Gunnarson and Bogle actually had a decent 4 game run for Cardiff when we won all of those games too when Zohore was injured. We can still put together a good side.

I know this side won’t be picked, as I know Tomlin and Ward are in form, this was just an example to put into perspective that we shouldn’t be that far away. What I will say though is we need to stop endeavouring with Murphy, he doesn’t have it, simple as that. I would only bring him on if we’re winning to breed confidence to try and build him back up, because right now he’s a liability.
I’m hoping if and when Bamba is fit for next game, we see a Cardiff side that inherits what got us to the promised land in the first place. Forget performances this season from tried and tested Cardiff players, let’s just play OUR players that we adored last season and the season before last. Let’s bring back the Patterson’s and the Bambas and the Hoilett, Mendez-Laing etc etc let’s go back to what we know. There’s too many weak links at the moment and Warnock needs to man up and stop giving players like Glatzel and Murphy gametime, and go back to plan a. Sorry but it’s true. We haven’t signed the right players.
