The morning after , what will happen

Mon Oct 28, 2019 7:50 am

This morning after the dust has settled im hoping the club are taking stock of the diabolical performances this season and notably yesterday.

With VT and Dalman hardly ever present at games perhaps they do not realise the magnitude of the feelings this weekend.

Will NW step down, Sadly i hope he makes this decision tiday as i believe the club will not show him the door.

From the moment he decided to make this his last season and now we hear talk of perhaps one more challenge the players have taken their foot off the gas.

Coupled with his appalling summer transfers it really is time for a fresh face.

We will always be grateful for his significant achievement of gaining promotion but everyone was stating last season if we went down we needed to change our style and this did not happen and in fact has got worse.

I fear another poor performance this coming Saturday which will tip many over the edge.
NW does not deserve that.

Over to you VT & Mehmet.

I hope today the team gets together, with NW and the back room staff and watch the game over again, see where it all went wrong, then get it sorted for Saturdays game.
I am not turning on NW, no one else out there at the moment who will improve us.

Typical of the disposable attitude in todays society, going gets tough and we dispose, mentality. Warnock brought a broken club back together and took us to the top flight. For crying out loud it's his last season, get off his back.

At least give him the next two games it takes us to the international break and a third of the way through the season.
It's been poor so far but results at home have been pretty good. At the moment we played 8 away only 6 at home

I’m one of Warnocks biggest fans but even I think it’s time for a change

I honestly thought keeping the bulk of last seasons squad and adding a few decent players in the summer we would have a great chance of going straight back up

The summer transfer business was just shocking.. very, very poor signings which have if anything made the team worse.

The fact that we didn’t even use the loan market points to a major weakness in our recruitment policy, it defies belief that we did not make any loan signings when there were numerous good young hungry players available

Warnock will go down as one of our best ever managers but I think most people can see it’s starting to go wrong. If he leaves now he can leave with his head held high after doing a terrific job overall

Whatever happens it needs to be on his terms he deserves that respect at least! It was obvious on Sunday after game that the ground swell of opinion is hes taken us as far as he can and needs to step down? And its not just Sunday it's the season as a whole especially away from home that anyone can see why we havent won away and be lucky to win more than 2 , things could should be better when you look at table two extra wins instead of drawing games would see us in healthy position but I fear next two home games may not see a win and only adding to pressure for him to step down.

If we win those games we’d surely be breathing down the necks of those in the playoff spots. It’s amazing what difference 3 (or 6) points will make on most people’s thinking.

Tan isn’t stupid.

He did make a grave and glaring error by delaying this though and is something I pointed out at the time.

You will be fine. But you do have to write off the next maybe 3 seasons at least, and your fans need to be (and stay) patient with the changes. It’s not easy, but it’s doable.

i personally think a big decision is needed

do we give nw another transfer period?

first half of the season is always the hardest when you have juts come down from the prem, all sides lift there game against you, but yesterday showing was not of a team that wanted to win a derby what means the world to the fans.

there was only one booking!!!

we got alot of dead wood. murphy needs to go seen more fight in a pensioner and also i would love to know who is our striker scout as since warnock been in charge we have signed

ward
bogle
vassel
glatzel
madine

not one of these strikers we have had to fight for as no other team wants them?

£ 5.5. million for glatzel dont say there is not a british striker out there for that money who knows the league?

i think the worse thing warnock could of said he is leaving end of season as players with 3/4 year contracts would take there foot of the gas its natural in the modern day player.

the league this year is mad we win next two home games we are on the edge of playoffs

lets get the stadium bouncing for saturday as too much negativity around at the moment

all this 3 year nonsense.
I remember Roath saying results can turn on a sixpence in football.
didn't like the fella but he was correct on that one.
