Taking it on the Chinn

Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:06 pm

Gutted when we lose and you have to take it on the Chinn.
I have followed this team for nearly 50 years and seen some poor teams over the years but what I can’t accept is over paid players who show no fight, passion, desire and that’s what we saw once again today. It’s a Derby where the hell is the fight.
Not taking anything away from Swansea they deserved to win hands down they wanted it more showed 100 times more passion but that said they were one of the weakest Swansea sides I have seen for years so what does that tell you about our lot.
Where has the fight gone.

There is nothing to fight with. This is the trouble, we don’t have players who can actually play. All our threat comes from out wide, every time we set a winger free the cross is usually 9 times out 10 sheer crap. However if we are trying to build up to getting the ball out wide teams double up on our wingers. It’s been happening all season. We have been worked out. Our set piece move has also been worked out. Double up on wingers, press our central midfielders, defend the back post and we have nothing.

We are desperately short in all areas.
