Team for Birmingham

Sun Oct 27, 2019 5:48 pm

This team needs a real shake up now to wake a few players up

Smithies

Cox
Bamba
Morrison
Bennett

Pack
Vaulks

Hoilett
Tomlin
Whyte

Madine

Etheridge puts us under massive pressure with his distribution

Madine should be given a chance if we have to play with a big striker

Same here, who ever we pick it will still be the same tactics, hoofball, boring football regardless of who we pick with defensive wingers, no one passing to each other, wingers who cant cross and no creativity or support for the striker.

Exactly, I honestly believe we have the squad to be top six but the tactics, motivation and mindset of a relegation threatened team

Neil seems to have lost the plot on who to pick granted we are getting a lot of injuries, as for neil sidekicks Jepson etc they look way passed it, like a couple of old pensioners trying to play todays footie, when you look at lampard, eddy howe, even the swansea manager our style of play looks old and dated , i think whoever we play against brum they all look the same, lost without any guidance

I'd say you got 4 there that will play on Saturday and no more. Bamba wont play until after the international break, Coxe wont start before Peltier, Vaulks not before Ralls or Bacuna, Hoilett and Tomlin maybe missing and seriously you would have Madine no goals before any of our other useless strikers.

Etheridge

Pelts
Mozza
Flint
Bennett

Pack
Bacuna

Murphy
Tomlin
Hoilett (NML if he's not fit)

Ward or Glatzel

And a rocket up their arse!!

He's not going to change it much. Tomlin and Hoilett are the key. Badly missed them.

The starting 11 at Millwall was our strongest, less Bamba.

For those who actually attended, madine was actually quite decent linkup at Wigan and then got frozen out. Now we’re stuck with him I’d say give him a chance. Would do more than Glatzel

I agree
Madine has a point to prove and will want a move in January so needs to show what he can do..
He is not a bad player it just has not happened for him here

Pretty much my side but I’d have Hoilett and NML as wingers with Murphy to fill in if JH unfit.

Play Paterson as centre forward. If we are kicking the ball long, let's get someone who has the strength to hold on to the ball.

Well we now know that Glatzel, Hoilett, Tomlin and Bamba are all out. I'd bring back Smithies though after Etheridge's performance last Sunday.

So I'd say Smithies, Peltier, Morrison, Flint, Bennett, Bacuna, Pack, Ralls, Whyte, Bogle, Murphy. Subs: Etheridge, Nelson, Vaulks, NML, Ward, Coxe, Madine.

But I expect Warnock to stick with Etheridge and Ward.
