He said that he couldnt work out what we were trying to do.
There was no game plan, no cohesion and no fight.
The Swansea fans around him were laughing at us we were that bad.
He said that was the worst Cardiff team he has ever seen, and to be honest I cant disagree with him.
Warnock was given a lesson in how to select and how to motivate a team by a novice manager.
Thanks for everything Neil but its time to go. NOW!

Can’t argue with that mate..
Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:08 pm
We were shocking
Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:10 pm
Warnock should offer his resignation
Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:14 pm
Money is a bit tight at the moment at home so how can I justify spending what I have on watching that drivel.
Ive been following Cardiff for over 40 years but after today im considering taking a break.
Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:18 pm
Let’s hope Warnock offers his resignation??? He had mentioned previously that if he’s not wanted he would walk? Seems an increased amount of fans against s him after today.
Tensions run high during local derby’s, but the level of performance all season have been woeful.
Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:26 pm
Away performances have been woeful and we have got out of jail in last minute at home otherwise things could be a lot worse!
Brizzle City is where Warnock started , maybe it could be where it ends if we don’t beat Birmingham and Wurzels ?
Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:35 pm
I was sat in the home end today (long story!!).
I was praying I didn’t over-react when we scored. I needn’t have been concerned!!
Absolutely shocking. No game plan, no heart and what the hell was Etheridge doing!!!
The previous poster is right. The jaxx were laughing at times. I thought physicality was a Bluebirds thing. Why were Swansea winning that battle?
I won’t be going for a while, that’s for sure.

worst performance i can remember from a cardiff city team in the south wales derby....embarrassing..I hate this hoofball nonsence, cant get excited about any fixture at the moment.. I dont believe we have a bad squad, just a manager that hates players taking a risk of passing a football. leave before your pushed

We played quite well at Millwall in the midweek and even managed to keep the ball on the floor!

We were not great but they were not exactly 'brilliant' either.
Text your Jack mate back and congratulate him on the win but advise him the season does not end in October and there are 7 months to go where lots can change.
Also advise him his fellow fans were 'laughing' at a team that were so shit they only beat us 1-0 with 57% of the possession so not to get to excited and teams like Brentford who are set up correctly will expose them as easy as it is to expose a one legged camel with no humps.
They are at their seasons prime, we are at our seasons worst
Bookmark the thread and lets see where both Clubs are come May 2nd, I can guarantee you there won't be a lot in it and I would still fancy us to finish above them
Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:13 pm
True, I thought Swansea were piss poor today, we were just worse.
Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:23 pm
Loose to brum at home next week and i think we will be hearing some boo's how else do you tell a manager and team you are not happy with the state of play relagation and 15 games in going backwards, with nothing on the horizon to lift the spirits it would be understandable.
Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:28 pm
It's not the worst Cardiff team I've seen but certainly one of the worst Cardiff performances I've seen in a Derby.
Deciding to go 2 up front in this game only was madness from Warnock. And then to have Ward do nothing all game, when we needed an extra man in midfield. And when we made the substitutions we left Ward on the field.
Hopefully Tomlin, Hoilett and Bogle will start next week.

Agree with everything you say except for the fact that I'm not sure we'll finish above them

I dont think you would have said then when we in the top 2 a couple of seasons back.
And I dont think he needs to be said now.
Neil isn't daft - he will know when it's time to hand over the reins to someone else.
You may not think it - but they are professional people doing a professional job. And yes - it always hurts when we lose to them or dont play well. Suck it up and move on, Im sure youve had bad days at the office - so have I. Go and have a beer

"“I thought it was always going to be close,” he said. “We’re disappointed to concede like we did and not to score at the other end.
“It was really disappointing yesterday to lose Tomlin and Junior [Hoilett] and have to change everything last minute. We can’t blame that though.
"It was a really poor goal, so we’ve only got ourselves to blame. It knocked us back a little bit and our passing let us down when we had really good opportunities."
Cant think what else he could have given the circumstances

? I'd say after watching the ball hitting the clouds on numurous occasions by so called professional footballers then Cardiff would have brought any team down to the lower levels of park football.Hit and hope is no tactic to use againgst a side at home with the crowd behind the team and reknowned for passing the ball , on the occasion when the ball was on the floor the ball was moved through middle causing all sorts of problems .Win the ball back then rinse and repeat

Yes you caused us so many problems you only managed to hit the back of the net once.
I mean we were so shit and your so good once you had the ball we found it impossible to get the ball back hence your domination of the possession and the 6-0 win.
Oh sorry, neither of those happened did they, as you were.
Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:48 pm
We were in theory an ex prem team playing against a team that had just been dicked 0-3 at home, embarrassing

Your living in the past mate. You were good at moving the ball, now you’re just average. Hard innit..

The problem is teams and fans try and compare styles of play and just because at times we are crap like today the opposition for all pretty football they dont do that much with ball ? 14% more possession and 2 shots on target more than us today! Better side but thats not saying much is it considering
the stick their fans and ours are giving the way we played today...

Huh?
Their right back today has played almost as many Premier League games as the rest of our starting 11, 4 of our starting 11 have never played Premier League Football and many of the others have very few games.
In fact the amount of Premier League appearances amongst their starting 11 today absolutely eclipsed ours, it wasn't even close.

Not really a measure though is it. Man City have battered teams off the park and only won 1-0. That’s football for you. The key isn’t the scoring part when looking at a performance, it is how many clear chances the team has to score. We seemed to have a gazillion and were excellent in bizarre circumstances where only one team was really playing.

Spot on, they were the home team and it's their Cup Final, let's not forget their last two home results were a three-nil defeat to Brentford and they lost two one to Stoke!
