" Is it time for Warnock to go? "

Sun Oct 27, 2019 2:00 pm

I've always supported Warnock until now.

But we showed zero fight today.

A few more are saying his time to go is now on Twitter.

Do you think it is?

I’ve always supported him as well but seeing one of the biggest games of our season and not even turn up is a disgrace, he needs to be a man and just walk away, shit team, shit performance and we got what we deserved, carry on and we will go down

I think it is but we need to find a proper replacement first so it’s worth waiting until the end of season.

Its run its course....That is just how it goes. Even under Slade there we tried to play a bit, we have superior players now and just kick it anywhere

His biggest mistake was stating he would retire, the players have switched off.
Unfortunately its time for him to go, and wow how he has wasted the transfer budget this season

Those who say no will be the biggest plastics of all. We all love Warnock to pieces, but I'm not having my club be a laughing stock and mid table mediocrity in the CHAMPIONSHIP (not even a hope of playoffs looking at this team) just to not bruise our managers ego. I've been holding off joining the warnock out bregade for a few weeks, but if there's a game that changes that, it's today.

Said it for a long time and he should never have taken another season
Football in the championship has progressed massively

And he just dont have it in him to tactically advance

Please make way for a manager so we can get ourselves ready for next season

Do absolutely everything in our power to try and attract Jokanovic

Get someone fresh in with new ideas , the team is clueless .
We were actually bullied today by a more passionate team . I can’t accept that !!!

Sang, Coxe and Brown to start in defence next week. If we are to write this season off in November I think we should still try to blood some youngsters at least. We are the victim of 3 terrible transfer windows and are now paying the price. I’m don’t know how a new manager would be able to create a successful system with this squad to be honest. We are in more danger of relegation than we are promotion

Biggest disappointment was not the loss but the gutless performance, so many players playing turned off

Re: " Is it time for Warnock to go? "

This is the normal reaction after a defeat. If we were to win our next few games, everyone would be praising him. Too early to be looking at getting shot of him, and who would take his place. Needs to get some results sooner rather than later though, or he will come under pressure.

Yes

No it’s not today only, he has wasted millions, he’s put a team together that can’t string passes together, can’t cross or shoot. It’s awful to watch and his time is up

Re: " Is it time for Warnock to go? "

Sun Oct 27, 2019 2:09 pm

I a have stated all season that he should NOT have been allowed to stay this season. After today’s pathetic performance I believe I have been proved right. He has had money to spend and has wasted most of it and now he has a side that can’t defend .a side that struggles to pass to their own players and a side that struggles to score many goals ..It’s his side and his players so WHO ELSE should you blame .THe sooner he has gone and his tactics and backroom staff banished the better .and please do not let him have ANY say in a new manager

Yes, done a great job, but now I want a vision for the club to take us forward. Improve the academy, push this new training facility. And create a game with the ball on the deck.

There’s never any youngsters anywhere near our team, and that’s unacceptable.

He needs to go now.

I actually think someone coming in with this squad can still do a lot with it.

We just need to improve our possession. It’s not working. We are woeful in each box for a so called big team.

He will walk, im sure he appreciattes that the performaces are way below what is expected.
Trouble is whoever takes over will have a relegation fight on his hands.

I agree with your two important points. Announcing your retirement a year early is not a good move, and sadly, whilst he has done a lot for the Club, he has wasted an awful lot of money (much like OGS) with quite a few terrible purchases, which we'll never get our money back on.

Re: " Is it time for Warnock to go? "

Absolutely.

The season has been a shambles, starting with the summer recruitment.

With a Warnock team you expect fight and decent set pieces to win games - without that, there is nothing to offer. Football is poor, results are poor, fight is poor, decision making it woeful and it just stinks of being stale.

There is no way he can turn this around and so it is better he walks now with his head held high, rather than it become more and more bitter.

In which way do you mean time to go,sack him, resign or a mutual split? Warnock himself said he will go by Christmas if we are not in contention for promotion,so I really don’t see the point in sacking him now if that’s what your on about.
Personally I like him to have a January transfer window to correct things.

A big yes, warnock come in when we were at a low,and brought the club together,he gave us premier league football which we were unlucky to have been relegated, and has done a lot of good work at the club, this season has been below poor, the players don’t look interesting, today was the final straw for many,it’s time warnock left with his head held high,he stays much longer and the fans will turn on him

Another transfer window after the dross that has been purchased this summer!

The club made a big mistake not shaking his hand after Old Trafford, thanking him for his endeavours and let him go as that would have suited everyone.
This season is just going nowhere. The squad is full of clumsy players lacking basic skill and pace. There’s no game management or pattern. It’s all too staid and stale.
This season will just drift along; hopefully we can get enough points to stave off a potential relegation battle and get in a more modern thinking manager and assistants.
Today was no different to a lot of our games this season.
Maybe he’ll resign but I can’t see him being sacked.
The time to have changed it was May not now. See the season out and rebuild in the summer - which is what they should have done after last season.

I hope that there is a manager in place for Warnock otherwise if we get rid of him and we are looking for someone throughout November/December then we could get relegated with teams around us picking up points and our form away has be very poor.

I voted 'No' but things have to improve by Christmas and I'm sure the manager himself knows that (has even stated that pre-season?)

It’s best if he resigns this week

He can go with his head held high and probably our best ever manager

I would hate the crowd to turn on him, he deserves better than that

Also, gives a new Manager time to turn it around, this squad and team is a lot better than it is showing at the moment. Can still make the play offs but we need to improve and quickly
