Awful

Tue Oct 22, 2019 8:44 pm

We are devoid of quality and shaky in defence. I was hoping for a big improvement from Friday but that was just more of the same. Awful and ineffective

You obviously watched swansea because this was our best away performance lots more passing and lots more chances, not slightest like Friday except poor defending

Bring Sol back in for Flint and we'll get more clean sheets. Playing really average and still only 4pts off the play offs :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Thought we were better but that's not saying much as I thought we were terrible against Sheff Wed for the first 70 mins. Millwall were crap and we only managed a draw when we should have won and we would have if our CB's could run. At least the attack looked better, bit concerned about Hoilett who looked really good.

We were the better team tonight, just can't seem to defend.

Disappointed we threw away two points but I wouldn't call it awful.

It is saying much normally fans saying how crap we were? but tonight we did look capable of scoring by making better chances just poor finishing and of course normal poor defending cost us game

If that is the bar we are setting for away performances this season then we have a long way to go. Millwall aren’t exactly setting the world alight and they more than matched us tonight.

I can’t wait to see what Sol gives us when he comes back. Biggest decision is whether to drop Mozza or Flint. They cannot play together in the same team for some reason.

No bar just a better performance overall except for Morrisons poor display ! Did they match us? We dominated them for long periods and should have been comfortable 3/4 nil winners ... but as we've seen poor individual errors cost us big time

spot on

Re: Awful

To be honest, Millwall were the worst Championship team I've seen for many seasons. It's pathetic enough conceding one goal against them to let them back in the game, but conceding a second goal was inexcusable.

I was happy to put up with Warnock's playing style because we used to have a team of battlers who would leave everything on the pitch to make up for our lack of technical ability. But now, we are watching us play poor quality football while being soft as sh!t as the back.

A decent team (not a good team) would have got a comfortable win tonight against an extremely poor Millwall side who offered nothing apart from the occasional Jed Wallace run. We gifted them 2 goals through our own pathetic mistakes, lack of concentration, lack of positioning, lack of communication, lack of anticipation, lack of desire by Flint to cut out the pass for the first goal and then not bothering to chase back.

I never thought I would ever say this with Warnock here, but we have become a soft touch! Millwall are the worst Championship team I have seen for many seasons. Unfortunately, I can't also remember a Championship team give as many soft goals away as easily as us. Bring back Bamba, even if he isn't fully fit, we can't defend any worse than we did tonight!

Defence again let us down tonight need Sol back ASAP.

Team selection spot on to start ward looked good up top Tomlin didn’t have best of games but always a chance he can create something.

Josh Murphy is a disgrace need to get rid asap.

Should have won that if defence didn’t let us down.

I was thinking that too. Apart from the slips in defence we looked like we did in our promotion year in large patches of the game imho.

I completely agree. The compromise of style for sheer energy and determination made us very watchable. Maybe best summed up by Patersons sheer endeavour when playing in a forward role. The endeavour seems to have gone whilst the quality simply isn't there. Morrison also typifies this with his slow saunter to the touchline and routine with towell ahead of launching a long throw. His demeanor is exactly the same in any game situation whether winning losing start of game or injury time.

Bamba is a miss but I think we miss Manga more.

This Millwall team beat Leeds.

Maybe we made them look poor?

Seen most games this season and I would say that's the best we have played. Cant believe we drew because not only did Millwall have very few chances they hardly had a touch in our box. Murphy was awful though.

to be honest it looks as if you've lifted this off anyone of 50 odd other clubs message board threads just after they've been rolled over by us but changed Cardiff being the worse to Millwall being the worse..
how about credit where its due they have beaten 3 of the current top 5 and drawn with top of the table WBA...not bad for a team that would lose to anyone decent eh
