BBC Neil Warnock:

Sat Oct 19, 2019 8:39 am

Cardiff manager Neil Warnock said:

"I am disappointed we conceded the way we did. We had to make a change early doors because I think we would have got beaten easily if we hadn't done that.

"Leandro Bacuna has done some miles and I think he has played every game for club and country this season. He just looked jaded to me and I thought we could play Danny Ward with the way they were playing.

"I said to the lads at half-time I thought we could win it - I thought they were vulnerable.

"We had quite a lot of crosses going astray - some of the balls into the box were poor tonight - but we kept going and I thought we could have won it in the end."

Should have started ward then. Especially after his recent goals.

Same old same old, Neil you had the opportunity to play 2 up top from start, if you knew that bacuna was tired you have the final say on team selection so question yourself.
We are poor simple.
What are you teaching them in training. :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluescarf:

With regards to training, I said exactly the same thing last night. I have been of the opinion for a long time now, that during long periods of inactivity our players are given the Whole Time off for relaxation. Nothing wrong in that as such,,, but our set pieces, corners, and general passing have been bloody awful for ages,,, I mean we just don’t seem to improve or get better, game after game. Just my opinion.

Neil Warnock believes Cardiff City can go all season undefeated

Saturday 19th October 2019

The Bluebirds managed to salvage a point courtesy of Lee Tomlin's late free-kick

Neil Warnock has boldly claimed that Cardiff City can go all season undefeated at home after Lee Tomlin rescued a late point against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Bluebirds are unbeaten in the league at Cardiff City Stadium this season, however the Owls threatened to burst that bubble on Friday night when they led in the Welsh capital right up until the 87th minute.

However a moment of Tomlin magic ensured the unbeaten record extended and Warnock believes it is not beyond the realms of possibility that his side can continue that for the rest of this gruelling Championship campaign.

"I’d like to go unbeaten all season," Warnock said after the 1-1 draw, "I don’t think it’s impossible.

"But I’d like to win away now next week. We’ve got two tough away games and it’s about time we won away on the law of averages.

"I think we can get better second half of the season, there are one or two areas we are working on and we’ve got players coming back in.

"I think we can be in the mix, I’m sure of it."

It is likely to be a hugely challenging week for the Bluebirds, with two away trips to Millwall and south Wales derby rivals Swansea City.

What Warnock would give to pick up his first away victory of the season at one of those venues.

NW is beginning to wear thin ....excuses after excuses...any player too tired to play a first half shouldn’t have started .
First time I’ve said this but NW has not been the same manager since Sala ....

well he didn't run into other peoples channels, intercept passes and generally be an extra SW centre half which is something.

He did nothing at all. Pretty much zero contribution so I agree that he didn’t do any of the above.
