The Ministry of non involvement

Mon Oct 07, 2019 11:06 am

Welsh referendum
50.3% for devolution
49.7% against devolution
Decision respected. Welsh assembly established.

Brexit ref in Wales
52.5% to leave
47.5% to remain
First Minister Mark Drakeford says the result is
too close to call and Wales wants to remain in the EU.

Re: The Ministry of non involvement

Just over half a million people voted in favour of a Welsh Assembly, and the difference between for and against was less than 7,000. Far closer than the Brexit vote, but it helped fill some pockets by having a Welsh Assembly, whereas many politicians have their fingers in the EU pie dish, and it will cost them if we leave. All about educating the masses so that a few can benefit while the remainder pay.

That’s because Drakeford is a fascist.

Anything anyone wants to know about WAG(or Govt in general); read Dickens note on the Circumlocution Office..

Also lying again? They've said 50mph cameras on m4 port Talbot as reduced pollution?? Considering they've been there 40yrs? Strange how only after they put in 50mph cameras around Wales that these particular ones have suddenly reduced pollution when didnt in previous 20ys or so since monitoring started.... obviously want to put more and more up to rake in the money! :laughing6:

Don’t make me laugh! You could call Drakeford a socialist even a marxist! He’s left wing man certainly no fascist. You need to know the difference between your left and right!

Are you referring to the difference between Mao and Hitler?

Or Honecker and Mussolini?

Can blame people like me for this waste of money. I did not even bother to vote as I never believed for one minute that the Assembly would get off the ground. I know plenty of others like me, and the turn out was very low. In the event only just over 1 million bothered to vote, and the difference between for and against was less than 7k if I remember correctly. I often complain about this waste of tax payers money, but I suppose I only have myself to blame. Just too lazy to make the effort to vote for this, but made sure I got to the ballot box to vote for Sunday opening. Obviously had my priorities all wrong in my younger days.

Staggering really that Welshmen on this forum would rather let another country make decisions on their behalf. If you want to complain then criticize the Labour government in power not the institution itself.

Prefer bunch of chimpanzees making decisions than give wag total control regardless of who is majority party? Must be best gravy train outside EU! :old:

Not really. The recent record of welshmen in politics is an embarrassment to the nation. The Assembly should be closed until it’s inhabitants are skilled enough to warrant entry. We shouldn’t tolerate second rate politicians here.

You should get off ya flag waving high horse, and do a bit of maypole dancing.. broaden your views mate.

Because I know three of our present AM's, one particularly well, I just hope that they are not typical of all members of the Assembly. As much as I like them as people, and one is a particularly good friend of mine, I would not really want them to be involved in any business I was running. One of those I know in all honesty would struggle to run an ice cream van with any efficiency. Nice enough lady but as dull as a brush.

There is such a thing as left-wing fascism. This is taken from Wikipedia

"Left-wing fascism and left fascism are sociological and philosophical terms used to categorise tendencies in left-wing politics otherwise commonly attributed to the ideology of fascism. Fascism has historically been considered a far-right ideology.

The term has its origins with criticism by Vladimir Lenin of the threat of anti-Marxist ultra-leftism before being formulated as a position by sociologists Jürgen Habermas and Irving Louis Horowitz. Another early use of the term is by Victor Klemperer, when describing the close similarities between the National Socialist regime and the German Democratic Republic."

Fascism is a Leftwing doctrine as was Nazism, the whole left right thing is idiotic and disingenuous.

Hey Bluegog..

When I was a boy, I had ‘L’ on one trainer, and ‘R’ on the other.

Suggest you do the same.

Oh for goodness sake please keep up at the back theres a good chap ;-)

We've done this all before...
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=209852&p=2144214#p2144214

Save you having to reread the whole thread a quick summary...

The very definition of fascist was centrist. It comes from an italian phrase that basically means the sum of its parts is greater than the whole and deliberately took left and right policies into its conception.

Nazism is equally centre-left and both moved away from the centre they became more left wing in nature.

Allan, If they were serious about the pollution they would have built the M4 relief road instead of installing sped cameras at Brynglas tunnels ! ! Queuing idling traffic blowing fumes into the air with the queues going back to Magor westbound and back to Tredegar Park ( and further) eastbound daily must be worse for the environment and pollution?

What is Welshness? The WA & Plaid Cymru want Wales to become a global migrant sanctuary. That is the fastest way to disolve Welsh identity. You're actively encouraging that.

This forum is the pits of stupidity, but that is possibly the most stupid thing I have ever seen here. People shouldn’t be able to get away with saying such nonsense, no matter how irrelevant the place they say it is.

Fact is, you want Wales to be governed by England. That is anti-Welsh and makes you scum in the eyes of the majority of Welsh people.

That’s right, build more roads to lower pollution :banghead:
