Whyte Bacuna and Pack are playing so bad.

Sat Oct 05, 2019 2:52 pm

Whyte, Bacuna and Pack are having a mare.

Packs passing is so dangerous he's giving our players hospital balls. But he and Bacuna's marking for the first goal was embarrising, lazy,

But Whyte & Bacuna look so lazy going forward, like they don't take responsibility and pass it backwards. I'm so disappointed in them.

The simple fact is Whyte and Bacuna are not good enough for a promotion chasing team in this league.

They are both mediocre and should be nowhere near our first 11 no matter how much they have improved the last month.

Whyte works hard and for some fans that’s good enough.
He may be a prospect but NML & Hoilett deffo the better option imho.

To be fair I could run at into defenders for 90 minutes without having to put a decent cross in aswell.
He might work hard but it leads to nothing other than him losing the ball or running it put of play. Mendez is a far better option on the right. Whyte still needs a season or two to develop.

I agree about Bacuna, just my opinion but he's a bit scared of the ball and doesn't sense danger quickly enough. Unlike Arron Gunnarsson whose forte was anticipating our defensive gaps and blocking them. A bad summer transfer window not replacing Gunnersson adequately.

I’ve been called reactionary before but how can you write off Bacuna after multiple consecutive MOTM performances when he has a bad game when the whole team does. From what I’ve gathered from written commentary he was also involved in the build up for both of our goals.

Pack has been thrusted back into the team from injury and playing 3 times in a week was probably a bit too much.

Whyte is the only player I somewhat agree with, but in fairness he’s been getting consistently better and has had an off day. Remember just two years ago he was playing football in Northern Ireland

Plus Bacuna had been away on international duty.

Even when playing at his maximum , Bacuna is a bang average championship player. There is nothing wrong with that and he has a place in the squad but if we want promotion we need better.
Look at West broms midfield today
Livermore, Pereira and Sawyers are all a class above our midfielders and all would walk into our first 11

I've never rated Bacuna, tbf he has improved from a low starting point and people have gone overboard with plaudits.
Warnock knows a lot more, but for me, he's a step down from Gunnarsson. I just hope Bacuna proves me wrong.

I think Pack is the Gunnar replacement and even though he apparently wasn’t great today, I believe he’s a massive improvement on the AG we had for the final 3 seasons.

Every game we lose, some posters tear into a player or two  not a good result I agree, but bacuna has been on form, had a poor game, but so did a few othere, ward has shown he knows where the goal is,so for me,deserves a start and Glatzel a rest.let's see if neil agrees :?: :old: :bluebird:

Nothing wrong with Bacuna or Pack, problem is with modern football is that everything is under the microscope and one mistake and players get slaughtered. Bacuna overall has been one of our best players this season.

The fact that Bacuna has been one of our best players just shows how poor we have been in midfield. He should not be our starting midfielder if we are serious about promotion.

We were poor all over the pitch yesterday so a bit unfair just to single him out. Although he does need to start putting some of these chances away. With some of clear chances he has missed this season he should be on 5 or 6 goals by now. Bacuna was very poor. I think he needs to be at the top of his game to be anywhere the near the standard you’d expect from a team who want to challenge top 6. Obviously that is not sustainable so I think we will regularly see performances like that. I still don’t know what Patterson offers the team at the moment.
