Smithies made some superb saves for Cardiff to keep the score down.

He's playing brilliantly

Fully deserves his place in the first team.
He is the better all round keeper and is now showing it. Etheridge will struggle to get in for the rest of the season. People got hung up on Etheridge because of his "one for the camera" saves.

Best keeper at the club

Fans criticised him for 3rd goal but Austin had freedom to put ball whever he liked. Will say if he had got ball instead of hesitating and having to save with foot their 2nd goal would not have been scored just after. As the play would have stopped but cannot fault him did keep us in game.
