LEE TOMLIN STARTS: " CARDIFF CITY TEAM TONIGHT "

JOE RALLS INJURED

JUNIOR HOILETT DROPPED

LEE TOMLIN & JOSH MURPHY START

Neil Warnock has said in recent weeks that Joe Ralls has been playing through injury, so, with Marlon Pack back in the side, he has deemed it the right time to give him a well-earned rest.

It means Cardiff set up much more attacking, with Lee Tomlin in behind Robert Glatzel, flanked by the pace of Gavin Whyte and Josh Murphy, who returns to the side after his omission against Hull last weekend.

On paper, at least, it looks an exciting Bluebirds line up and one which is certainly capable of doing the damage. Whether that will be the case, of course, is another thing.

On the other hand, many Cardiff fans will be pleased to see that Nahki Wells is fit enough only for the bench. The striker, on loan from Burnley, has scored five goals so far this term.

Neil Warnock on Sol Bamba

The manager has written in his programme notes:

Sol Bamba is another who’s chomping at the bit and almost two months ahead of where he should be, so we hope to have him back with us very soon and give him an U23 game in the next fortnight.
He’s worked ever so hard to get to this stage and it’s difficult to hold him back!
It’s certainly good to have him moaning, which tells me he’s feeling himself again!

Good team on paper if Tomlin and Murphy are in the mood, and Glatzel fires up and confident, looking forward to it this could be the step up in class :ayatollah:
