Robert Glatzel

As far as personal tallies go, Robert Glatzel couldn't have asked for a better month.
He opened his account for the Bluebirds up at Pride Park, albeit from the penalty spot, before slotting home City's first up at Hull on the weekend.
So that's two in two for the big German, having missed the middle match against Middlesbrough through illness, and many will hope that proves the catalyst the better things to come.
At the start of the season, he was sharp and showed glimpses of real quality, however his finishing let him down such was his eagerness to get up and running.
But he finally looks far more relaxed and settled and that can only be a good thing.
If Cardiff are going to start applying real pressure at the top of the table then they will need their big striker to find the back of the net with greater consistency.

Finished like a proper striker last weekend.

Agree and he needs to be given more service in front of goal because he works hard in other areas.

Ive been impressed with him, I don't see us having a top scorer how we play but he does the rest well and if he can get goals as well even better.

You can see what a good player he is now that his confidence is growing and he is getting used to his new teammates.
Imagine if he got better service... could be a the 15 goal a season striker we have been missing

Was excellent against Hull. Good striker who doesn't look like he has any weak points which you need playing up front for us. Need the wide players to contribute far more with goals and assists than they have so far, granted Hoilett's put in some good crosses but need to see more end product from Whyte, Mendez, and Murphy and then Glatzel will hopefully get more goals.

I never rated Zohore from day 1 at this club. I thought he was about to prove me wrong when he went on his brief run where he couldn't seem to put a foot wrong. Unfortunately, that was a flash in the pan, and I still think he is a mediocre striker at best. I think Glatzel is different. I have a feeling he can score consistently given half a chance. From what I have seen, he actually looks like a genuine striker who can create goals as well as score them. Already doubled Zohore's tally for last season. I know many say we did not play to Zohore's strengths. It looks as if WBA don't either, and I guess none of his previous clubs were any better.

Went to see Frank Skinner at St Davids Hall on Saturday & he raised the subject of Kenneth Zahore. Didn't sound too impressed especially when a heckler shouted "thanks for the money!"

Glad he is starting to settle and will only get better .....15 goals should be realistic if he gets the service..
Seems to work hard and has a lot of self belief.
Would like to see him and a fit Danny Ward get a run in the team together ...
Hope he gets another one tonight against QPR!
