Cardiff City are interesting in signing former Manchester City goalkeeper Curtis Anderson on a free transfer, according to respected journalist Alan Nixon.
Monday 30th September 2019
The 18-year-old goalkeeper was on the books at Manchester City, although he never made an appearance for the Premier League club.
The shot-stopper has repented England at youth level and spent the past few months of his career in America with second-tier side Charlotte Independence.

I also think Smithies or Etheridge will be sold next season. Both are solid first choice championship keepers so can’t see either of them wanting to be backup keepers.

Would be surprised if this happened considering we have 3 GK's and George Ratcliffe who is the starting GK for Wales Under 21's and was named our youth player of the season and is considered a very promising prospect.

Ratcliffe is rated very highly. I read a match report of the TNS v Barry game on Saturday and Ratcliffe practically won it far Barry singlehandedly made three world class saves and two or three other very good ones in a one nil win for Barry who have only conceded for goals in eight games. He is probably our best youth team prospect.

Just because a goalkeeper is 18 he is for the future outfield players at 16 17 18 if he' s for the future how far down the line are we thinking if 2/3 years lets look then, and concentrate on perhaps signings some players that can play know and get back to the prem .

I’ve seen Radcliffe play for Barry a couple of times. He’s keeping an experienced Welsh Premier League keeper out of the team . He looks very good and is very composed. I’ve only seen him twice but first impressions suggest he could play EFL already. I understand he is thought to be the most likely of last years under 18s to make it in the top leagues
