Would be nice to see glatzel and ward playing off each other, especially at home switch from the lone striker, i wish neil would give it a go, glatzel's got the flick on's and ward picks up the pieces
both look better with someone near rather than the lone striker role.

Would be a breath of fresh air

Ok, would you go 2 in central midfield to accommodate the extra striker?

I think when fit and in favour we play with three forwards though as Murphy and NML are forwards, they are just not contributing enough in terms of assist or more importantly goals.
Essentially we play a much poorer version of Liverpools 433. Salah and Mane are the wide forwards with Firmino as the centre forward. The wide lads outscore the centre forward and the midfield tap in with a few.
Pack sits, with Ralls and Bacuna very mobile, I think this with Vaulks as back up has the semblance of a decent system.
IMO, Whyte and Junior are better in a 442 because they are wide midfeilders rather than forwards, so we could go with two up top, but that leaves Murphy and NML on the bench and that's a lot of supposed fire power sulking.
9 games in I am not sure if Neil knows exactly what we are trying to do. Tricky wingers whipping in crosses to a big man or raw speed honing in on goal at every opportunity.
Hope we see Glatzel, Murphy and NML, with Pack, ralls and Bacuna.

I agree MontyBlue, must be worth a try.
I know llanblue qualified it by saying poor mans version of Liverpools 433 but how the two sides play is utterly different and the only thing the same is that their 433 and our version add up to 11. It's not just where your players position themselves but what they are asked to do. Klopp is on the front foot with a high press and Warnockball, well it just isn't! Liverpool front three receive a service from behind and their width is helped by two outstanding fullbacks in Robertson and Trent. They have the quality to play the game they do. Our front one of three are asked to chase speculative long balls to them and more often than not if they get on the end of anything they are isolated with support 30 yards away and behind.
Two strikers, at home at least, has to be worth a try. Boro were against us and were roundly beaten at home on Saturday. We managed one shot on target. The alternative for success is for others to chip in with goals but there really isn't much sign of that. About time out centre half's started contributing in the opposition box from corners and set pieces, aka Roger Johnson and Mark Hudson who were always good for a few a season, granted with delivery from Whits.

Warnock rarely if ever seems to do ‘worth a try’. He’s more careful than that.
I think he’ll stick with Saturdays team more or less with the 3 in midfield.
If we drop one of Ralls, Pack or Bacuna to play with two in the middle we’ll get more swamped than we normally do.

My thoughts where 2 strikers glatzel and ward and 1 winger alternating from wing to wing or as another front man, at the moment playing with 2 wingers wipping crosses in for 1 striker is' nt working but having 2 players playing close together is worth a try in my book it worked with pairings of bothroyd and chopra, and years ago toshack and keagan because this lone man upfront just does' nt fit with us, zohore the season before last, and niasse last season now glatzel.

Not going to happen under Warnock, its 4-3-3 for the rest of the season.

I agree Dazza, that is most likely.
